Please excuse any temporary site slowness as I release a few behind-the-scenes / infrastructure improvements today. The site will be slow for ~15 min after each release, but will ultimately be faster in the long term.
Some (admittedly more technical) notes on what's new:
- The language (ruby) the site runs on has been bumped several versions, which means more functionality to code with (woo!).
- This also includes an ~5-10% performance improvement in many areas.
- A ton of third party libraries we use (like these forums, and the database) have been upgraded with security patches and performance increases.
- I added a "Site Support" board in the forums for anyone who has questions on how to do things, or questions in general about the site. (And i'll be moving the existing threads that fit there.)
