Oof I still have my Walmart Apple Barrel brand Acrylics. They work, sooo I’m not looking to replace them, but I do want cheap oils to start out with

I haven't even touched oils-
I'm just sticking with what I know until next year at art school

I need to buy Posca pens or gouache but I don't have the money because chocolate is too tempting. My goal is to try almost every material I can before I'm out of high school.

Tbh scratch art paper looks fun and comes in decent amounts so I might just end up investing in that. I think on Amazon it's like $12 for 50 sheets? Still expensive but hhnnnggngh effortless rainbow drawings.

Tip:
Get some cheap black acrylic paint and oil pastels/crayons
Then you can color your own rainbow design with the pastels, paint over it in black, and use that instead
It apparently looks exactly the same, just cheaper and slightly more time consuming (however if you have little siblings you can always let them do it for you)
