”But what? Is something wrong?” He looked worriedly at the other boy. ”I can stop, if that’s what you want. Just tell me what to do.”

Zach looked up at him. “No, no, you’re fine. Seriously, you’ve done nothing wrong.” He smiled shyly.
”But… what is it then?” Felix only got even more worried from Zach’s comment. He had said ’but…’, meaning that something was off.
“How did you know I liked you?” Zach tilted his head. “It’s like you just, you know, knew.” He shook his head. “Never mind.”
Felix heart pounded, but not because of the kissing this time. he’s onto me he knows ooohh fuck what do I do I can’t tell him he’ll hate me
He tried to sound neutral as he spoke. ”I guess I’m just really good at reading signals.” Total lie. He sucked at reading signals.
Zach raised an eyebrow, then smiled. “You know what, you can tell me later.” Then he leaned forward and kissed Felix lightly on the lips.
”Maybe I will,” Felix mumbled between the kisses. ”And maybe I won’t.”
“Your choice.” Zach mumbled, looking into his eyes. “Either way, it’s fine.”
”Thanks, cutie.” Felix eyes widdened the second the words left his lips. He didn’t mean to say that. It just slipped out. Well, this was awkward.
Zach giggled softly. “Thank you.”
Felix slowly pulled away, their foreheads still leaning against each other. He slipped a finger in under the grey ribbon on Zach’s wrist, playing with Zach’s fingers with his other hand. ”Hey… what’s the deal with this?” He spoke softly, didn’t want to ruin the mood.

Zach glanced down at it, then looking back at Felix. “Nothing. For now.” He’d tell Felix later, maybe. It was kind of angsty.

Felix nodded and smiled. ”Alright, keep your secrets then.” He both hoped and did not hope that Zach would notice the reference to Lord of The Rings. Felix knew he could be such a geek sometimes, and he kinda hoped that Zach would like that.

Zach looked up and giggled softly. “I will for now. Great reference, by the way.”
Felix had to hold back a huge, dorky smile. ”Thanks,” he said, voice cracking up a bit.
Zach smiled and kissed him again, lightly on the lips.
Felix lowered a hand to support balance on the bed. He gave him a teasingly crooked smile. ”You should be happy, you know. I’m usually not this nice to people. Not even close.”
“I am happy!” Zach gave him a smile. “Thank you.”
”You’re welcome.” Felix giggled. ”Geez, what are you doing to me? I am never like this!” Zach somehow made him braver than he felt like he had ever been when it came to this kind of stuff, and his pure precense made Felix smile like crazy.
“I don’t know.” Some brown hair fell in his face, and this time he didn’t move to push it away. “I could ask you the same question.”
Felix did it for him. He dug into Zach’s hair with his hand and pushed it away from the face. ”I’m glad we’re on the same page,” he smiled.
Zach giggled. “Definitely.”
”So…” Felix made some space between them, but only an few inches. ”What do we do now?”
“I don’t know.” He sat cross-legged on the bed, tilting his head at Felix.
