Kissa glares, pulling her feet up onto the couch and hissing. "Why does he get special food?" She complains.
Cage nods, placing a hand on both sides of the bowl. He concentrates, staring at it, and it slowly ices over and freezes solid. He lets go, beaming as cold steam rises from it. "I did it!"
Silver went to the pantry and grabbed a different bag of trail mix and a box of cookies, bringing them to Kissa and holding her hand out to take Gabe's bag. "Miki bought that for him. It's not yours. You can have these."
"WOW that was amazing! Good job, Cage!" She threw her arms around him in a death-hug. "SILVER, Cage can make ice cream!"

Kissa reluctantly hands over the trail mix and takes the cookies.
Cage giggles, bouncing a little and hugging Miki back. "I DID! I made ICE CREAM."
Ben walks down the stares, pulling his hair up as he comes down. "But can you eat it?"
Cage turns his head to look at it, biting his lip. "Well….. We'll have to wait for it to thaw a little first."
"Thank you." Silver took Gabriel's trail mix back into the kitchen and returned to her spot on the counter, hugging the bag to her stomach for safe keeping. "The REAL question is will anyone want to eat it?" she asked.
"Psh." Miki said. "Who cares if it's good or not. CAGE CAN MAKE ICE CREAM. Oh, oh, Cage! We can make Robby eat it!"

Cage goes to agree, but stares at the bowl for a second, thinking over the ingredient list twice. "Yeah, she should be able to eat it." He quietly states, stilling going over the ingredients.
Ben raises an eyebrow at the bowl. "Eck. Count me out of the taste testing. "
"Wait, what's wrong?" Miki asked. "Why couldn't she eat it? Is she allergic to your powers? WAIT WHAT IF WE ALL DIE BECAUSE THE ICE CREAM HAS CAGE'S POWERS IN IT."
Silver waved her hand, giving Miki a shove from across the kitchen. "Mik, you'd have been dead a long time ago if our powers could hurt you just from exposure."

Cage grabs Miki's arm. "OH NO I TOUCHED YOU. YOU'RE GONNA DIE."
Kissa covers her ears as Cage starts to laugh.

Miki groaned and then started laughing. "Okay, okay, fine. But why can't Robby have your ice cream? Will SHE die?"
Silver stretched out, laying on her back on the island with her wings spanned to either side. "I don't think anyone could die just because Cage made it. We might die because it's disgusting though."

Cage laughs. "No, no. She'll be fine. There's a few things she can't eat, but thankfully she can eat this."
Kissa leans forward, exasperated. "Oh my woooorrrd, Cage. Is she like one of those freak girls who only eats butter and salad??"
"Ewwwwww, Kissa. Butter and salad?" Silver said. "No one eats just butter and salad."
"She better eat more than that." Miki said. "Or she's gonna miss out on all of Ben's awesome cooking. And our awful ice cream. Should we start on the next flavor or wait?"

Cage rolls his eyes at Kissa and ignores her. "Let's make them ALL."
"Yeeeeeeeees I knew there was a reason I loved you, Cage." Miki pulled out the donuts. "We can just put the donuts and the trail mix through the blender and mix them into the ice cream base."
"Not at the same time?!" Silver yelped, sitting up and clutching the bag of trail mix protectively.
"No, no, no." Miki shook her head. "Not together. Just. Each. I think the donuts and the trail mix will blend into a pulp pretty well and be easy to mix in."
Silver blinked at her sister. "Do you even know how disgusting that sounds?" she whispered, horrified.

Cage pops a donut into his mouth. "MMMMMMMMM MIKI. SO YUMMMEEEE."
Ben takes one from the box and takes a bite. "Mh. Not bad."
Cage squishes his (own) face. "OMG. Will you eat our donut ice cream??"
Ben walks away, finishing the donut and taking his coat from the rack. "Not a chance."
Kissa stands. "I want a donut."
Miki smashed the box closed. "Hey, if we eat them all there won't be any left the ice cream!"
"What flavor are they?" Silver asked.
"Pumpkin spice."
Silver held her hand out.
"No." Miki hissed, holding the box shut.

"We'll buy more to eat later. Ben might get them for us since he likes them even." Cage says. "Okay. You blend them and I'll watch since I blended the bacon."

Ben checks his watch, sighing, and then slips his coat on, buttoning it.
Violet ties her hair up and looks into Ben's eyes for a second. "What's bothering you, Dear?"
"I don't want to leave the kids here. I'd like them to have some supervision." He mumbles quietly, slipping his gloves on.
He lips form a soft smile and she takes his hands. "May I remind you that at least two of them are actual adults? And we've left Gabriel in charge before. All is well."
He lets out another sigh. "Yes, yes. Fine." He takes his keys out of his pocket and turns around, "Lights off and doors locked by 9pm. Don't do anything weird while we're gone and text Vi if you have any problems."
Cage nods. "YES SIR."
Kissa rolls her eyes, flopping off the couch and onto the floor. "Fiiiiiiinne."
Miki checked the freezer for the 400th time to see if the ice cream was ready. "You're gonna miss out on some nasty ice cream, y'all!"
Silver hung over the railing. "Wait. Violet. Where is Gabe?"

Ben opens the door, but goes to turn around when Gabe is mentioned. Violet shoves him out the door. "I'm sure you'll find him. Goodbye, and be safe kids." She gives a quick wave before shutting the door.
Cage stands still and the house is silent till the car drives off.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH TIME TO PARTAAAAYYY!!!" He shrieks.
Silver rolls her eyes. "Cage, please no."
"You know if one of us headlocks Kissa and she screams, Gabe will probably come out from wherever he's hiding." Miki said, scrolling on her phone.
Silver stood beside the railing, hands planted on her hips, and looked down at her sister. "Yeah, and none of us are willing to sacrifice our lives for that."
Miki shrugged. "We could headlock you then."

Cage bounces around, hands in the air. “OK! Who’s making supper? Gabriel is in charge so HE should.”
Kiss scoffs. “Ha! Gabriel? Cooking? He’d burn the freakin house down.”
Silver sighed and climbed over the railing, gliding down to the ground floor. "I don't think Gabriel knows how to cook."
"Ben should have made food for us before he left. Now we're gonna starve." Miki said, still leaning against the counter looking at her phone.
Silver opened the fridge and stared at the contents. "There's… soup from last night. And. Don't we have frozen burritos?" She opened the freezer too.
"Let's just eat ice cream for dinner." Miki said.
"I'm trying to be the responsible one, Miki, because I can't find Gabriel, and you and Cage certainly aren't up for the task."

Kissa perks up. “I’ll be in charge! I can cook! I’ll make us food!”
Cages eyes widen. “You cook?”
She growls. “Yes, butthead.”
Silver stared in horror at Kissa. "And you won't burn the house down?"
Miki put her phone down. "Excuse you, little sister, I can be plenty mature and responsible when the time comes for it. That time just isn't now."

“I wont burn the house down, I promise. Pleeeeeease? Can I cook and be in charge??”
Silver took a deep breath and rubbed her face with her hands. "You can cook. If you don't kill anything. But you can.not. be in charge. Ben would kill us for sure." she left the kitchen and threw herself into a recliner, curling up and facing the wall.
Miki looked at Cage. "Let's just eat ice cream for supper." she whispered.

Cage nods, watching Kissa scramble to the kitchen and gather ingredients. “Yeah. This is Kissa taking the chance to poison us.” He whispers back.
Kissa bites her lip, showing her pointy canines, and lays out a few ingredients on the island counter while she sets a pot of water to boil.

"Yeah, Ben and Vi come back and we're all dead and Kissa is sitting on a pile of bodies. How would THAT work out well for her??" Silver called over her shoulder.
Miki frowned, watching the things Kissa got out. "Wait, what are you even making?" She perched on a bar stool and propped her chin in her hands. "I've never seen you cook before."

“It’s pasta.” She states, starting to cut up two peppers. She goes back to the fridge but pauses, glaring hard. “SILVERRRRR. Gabriel’s on the fridge!” She whines.
Silver sat up, staring toward the kitchen. The only thing she could see on top of the fridge was a cookie jar. Slowly she got up and came into the kitchen, climbed up on the counter, and eased herself up onto the fridge.
Miki waved to Cage and patted the stool next to her. "This is way better than TV, Cage. Let's watch."
