Once Upon a Dream|OxO|Open

Imagine a world where every night as you fall asleep, your dreams take you to a place full of vivid colors, strange clothes, and beautiful people. Among these people in your dreams, however, is a ruler. A ruler who is very real, old as time itself, and the very reason why you keep coming back to the same place. Yet, they rarely speak to you, only offering cryptic answers, and then they start appearing in the real world.

One day, they give you a set of tasks.

First, you must discover their true name.
Second, you must guess their earthly place of origin.
Third, you must gift to them an item they'll cherish for the rest of their life.

Depending on what the other person wants, this could be a friendship, comedy, or romance oriented story. I'm definitely no professional when it comes to roleplaying, so please be patient. If you'd like, we can set up a character sheet or just jump right in.

Appearance: A green-eyed, strong-shouldered woman with wavy black hair and honey skin. She's often seen wearing cool-colored clothing.
Distinguishing features (Tattoos, piercings, birthmarks, etc.): Has a tattoo of a snake winding down the full of her left arm. She also has an eyebrow piercing (right), as well as a septum piercing.
Personality: Lei is calm and collected on the outside, but on the inside, she's always ready to fight. When Lei becomes enraged, she's very difficult to calm. She does her best to be nice but can come off as rude.
Extra: She does not appreciate people being hyperactive or super loud.

Alright, here we go.

If there was one thing Nee did not appreciate about the recent dream-resident, it was her hyperactivity. Nee couldn't count how many questions she had been asked since the woman had first arrived. It was almost like having a puppy, except that puppy was a full-grown human who never knew when to be quiet.

"I think I'm going to need a drink if she doesn't arrive soon," Nee sighs, taking a quick look around tonight's setting.

The woman stood in a room full of warm colors-something akin to a bakery-with people chatting about their day and placing orders at the counter. Unlike her previous creations, this one was more modern, and would hopefully appeal to the pink-haired woman's senses.

"Weird?" Nee mumbles to herself, feeling a bit offended as she takes a seat across from Evelyn.

As soon as she pulled her chair forward a croissant (accompanied by a glass of water) materialized on the table.

"So," she starts to speak, "How was your day?"

"Nearly died?!" Nee shouted, a bewildered look in her eyes.

Upon realizing how loud she had been, she lowered her voice to a whisper.

"What exactly do you mean by 'nearly died'?" She says, a bit softer in tone.
