After class, Draco gathered his things and left the room. After a few seconds of consideration, he decided that he might as well see what Harry wanted and headed towards the library.

"Prom?" Draco froze. This was definitely not what he expected Harry to want to talk to him about. "Erm… I… I guess? I need to go to my next class. I'll talk to you later, I guess…" He said awkwardly before leaving the library as quickly as possible. Why the hell would I say yes??

Draco hadn't been planning on going to the dance at all, but he supposed he'd better start getting ready after his classes ended. He was sort of committed at this point.

Draco ignored his fellow Slytherins as they badgered him with questions. He simply got into his dress robes, neatened up his already immaculate hair, and headed down to where the ball was being held.
