I just finished A Scanner Darkly by Phillip K. Dick. It's not as sci-fi as some other dystopians, but is definitely sci-fi and definitely dystopian, and definitely definitely existential. Would recommend if the synopsis sounds interesting to anyone. :)

book

A Brave New World
Fahrenheit 451

Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder is very existentialist, I still haven't fully recovered from that book and I finished it months ago. 10/10 definitely recommend.

have you considered Maze Runner? I know it might not seem dystopian at first but it is frickin good (Pardon the language)

I watched the movies but Idk if I'll get around to the books.

Dude the first two movies suck in comparison
P.S. I haven't seen the third movie yet, do they say where the flare really came from?

Idk.
