I really loved You Must Not Miss by Katrina Leno (read the paperback, the cover is way better) as well as Horrid, which she also wrote. They're both really good YA horror stories.

@Endlingdairne

Anyone ever heard of the Great Library by Rachel Caine?? it's SOOO good

Also, Renegades by Marissa Meyer. Again, has a small fandom, but this trilogy is so underrated. Better superhero story than Marvel. Fight me

I read this one recently and I saw it had pretty mixed reviews but I was surprised at how much I liked it. I've been meaning to pick up the next in the series since finishing the first book but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

An update: I recently finished the last book in the trilogy and I have not thought about anything else since. I totally want to write a superhero story now.

Ooh, I might need to pick it up now-
Have you read Vicious by V.E. Schwab? It's a sort-of superhero story that I love.
I'm sure it would be amazing!!

Yeah I read it last year. I really liked it. I haven't read the second book because I've heard it's not as good.
Thanks just gotta come up with a plot first which could take years

Nah. You're allowed to have opinions. Plus it seems to have a lot of really mixed reviews anyways so *shrug*

It's not. There's some good backstory on Eli, but I would wait until the third book is released and see the reviews for that before reading it.

Yeah Renegades is pretty good, the official art sucks balls though.

Cecile: Gates of Gold by Mary Casanova
Good Historical Fiction about France. Really easy read, (like for a 10 year old) but still really good. I have only met one other person who has read it and NO libraries have it. very few bookstores have it

The Road by Cormac McCarthy - A bit bleak and slow moving but an interesting take on post-apocalyptic society. Highly recommend if you have played/watched The Last of Us

I know this is a well known book but i have a question. people say that "It Happened To Nancy" was not a true story and it was written by the editor. is this true??????? also I LOVE THIS BOOK SOOO MUCH.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. yes, there was a movie but it was actually trash.
Magnus Chase & the Gods of Asgard. Another great series by Uncle Rick! Plus crossovers with Percabeth.
Morrigan Crow. I found these at my local library, and they are very cool.
yes, this chat is dead, but dead things can be brought back to life…
