A bunch of crazy people trapped in the middle of nowhere

The year is 1986. You find yourself in the middle of nowhere… no, maybe not nowhere, but you sure can´t find anything remotely similar to a human civilization or… any civilization… despite the fact that you are lost and have no idea how did you even got there, you decide to just walk until you find something, after all, how far can you be from an place with people…

Rules: just be nice, that´s all, swearing is allowed and all, characters can even fight and whatever (as long as the other person involved is ok with it) just don´t be a jerk. All you got to do is introduce any character of you who can easily be called crazy (let´s be honest, most of us probably have more than one…) maybe leave a link to their page and the universe they live in in case you think is needed. You can also improvise and just make something up for this. Here´s mine (who would be 18 in 1986 so you don´t have to do the math, and yes, characters from other eras can be there):

Where the… What am I… Penny wakes up not knowing where she is, but she is thankful she woke up in water, a lake, she´s thankful for that, but about the rest… Well, her clothes may be wet but that´s nothing to her, it´s a little bit of a shame, that was her favorite jacket and it´s not even hers but her brother´s… a simple black waxed jacket, also, one of his favorites, it looks way to oversized on her…
Let´s see… she kept swimming until she reached land, as much as she would like to stay on water she had to get moving, not before making sure there wasn´t anything on her shoes, she used to save stuff on them, mostly knives when she wore boots, and indeed she didn´t forget that, and of course she wouldn´t go without making sure she didn´t have anything important on her pockets, Empty…
That was dissapointing, that and the fact that the water damaged the logo on her shirt… one of her favorite bands… what a shame…
Well, nothing but fog and an empty countryside…

(This is a really interesting idea! I just have a few quick questions about the time aspect. So it’s in 1986. For character’s ages, if we took it back to 1986, would you want years to be taken off a current age? I have a male character who, in present time, is in his 20s, so that wouldn’t work well. And when you said that characters could be from other eras, could a character be from present time? (I only ask because he has chronic injuries related to modern times (acid attack damage))

(Age doesn´t change neither their appearance, think about it like time travel and yes, it can be from present times, think about it like time travel, I guess the only reason why I choose that year was because back then Penny was way more stubborn and had less experience with those kinds of situations…)

Penny is not particulary used to… well, whatever is happening, sure, she used to get lost in the portals back in Ireland, luckily her father was with her and soon she learn how to go between the normal and the paranormal world all by herself, but this was different, she wasn´t wearing her uniform, so it couldn´t be because of a mission, and she couldn´t remember what happened before.
Anyway, she decided to move on, truth be told, she didn´t know what to do, but what is she supposed to do? stay there and do nothing? surely captain Voronin wouldn´t be happy is she did something like that back when she was still in training, and Reese would never let her do that on a mission.

The idea sounded stupid and it could atrack danger but it was worth a try, still, she got one one knife, just in case.

Evelyn awoke in a tree. In another world. Surprisingly this was pretty hella normal to her. She lived a pretty crazy life. She got down from the tree, and looked around. Strange, her brother wasn't with her. Well whatever. She then grabbed her backpack and satchel which were hanging on the limbs below her, but jumped and hit her head when she heard someone scream. In response, she screeched like a banshee and a pterodactyl dying at the same time.

Penny heard a scream, a banshee? dad said those only appeared to specific families, and she wasn´t even irish to begin with, hell, she was adopted, yet she headed towards the sound only to find a blonde lady on top of a tree.
-Lady… are you ok? do you need help?
She asked trying to hide her… fish looking self… humans didn´t react well to it…

"Ah,even better." She smiled. "Penny huh? Interesting name, interesting person. Like ya already. So then,do you have any idea where the hell we are?"

"Well, I got a hunch, it's complicated, we are probably between dimensions… We are… pretty much trapped here, if I'm right about this there should be a portal somewhere…"

"Hm…so sorta like Limbo? But we ain't dead? Huh. Okay." She shrugs. "Whaddya we do then?"

"Keep moving, I guess, let's just hope we don't find anything that could kill us…"

"I could kill ya, but I won't." She stands up, dusts herself off, and grabs her stuff.

"I like that attitude" she smiles, making her teeth visible and starts to walk, "To the north?"
