Lily: I dunno if you can be BORN evil, exactly, but you can be born with an intent to kill… maybe. I… don't know for sure.
Averill: It's completely normal where we're from. Every time a child is born, it has a twin. One is Good, one is Evil. There are different ranges of these, just called low-key, high-key, or mid. I'm not gonna get into all the history, but Goods and Evils are always separated, usually just by being put in different cities in their district. Only on special occasions will we see each other. I was born Evil, but s*** happened, my twin died, mix-ups happened and I grew up in a Good city. Blah, blah, blah, ran away, met Dorian living in the woods with a literal community of mutations or outcasts, yeah.
