Maddie smiles: Hiya, I’m Madelyn or Maddie, Who are you? Her British accent is very pronounced.

Emily smiles a little nervously: I'm Emily, though most people call me Lee. It's a pleasure to meet you. She extends her hand towards Maddie, brushing her hair back out of her eyes
Maddie gladly shakes her hand: Nice to meet you too. So, where are you from Lee?

I'm a proud citizen of the chilly UK, not that I had the choice.. What about you? She starts to feel more comfortable around the girl and her smile becomes more natural than nervous
Me too! Well, sorta, I don’t live there now but I did. Maddie rubs the back of her neck and sits down.

Emily sits down next to her: What happened? You seem to be somewhat distressed thinking about it.
Maddie sighs: It’s a long story, you sure you want to hear it?

Emily shrugs: I have all day, dont have much of a life myself so i like hearing about other people's.
Okay, well. My parents told me that they actually aren’t from Earth, they’re from a continent call Aliantó. Then they told me that I have magic and I’m going to be going to a school there. Maddie runs a hand through her brown hair.

You know, it was cool until I found out I’m not even fully human! Maddie throws her hands up in annoyance. Like, you start a new school, meet new friends, then you start receiving these dreams about the continent’s past, start turning into an Eyvn then you friends nearly die and you have to save everyone! Ugh.

Emily mumbles sarcastically: Can't imagine how that feels.. She smiles and gently rubs Maddie's back: You seem like a strong individual so I know you'll pull through. But it's okay to show that you're unhappy, remember that
Maddie smiles: Thanks Emily. What about you, surly you have some cool power or backstory?

She shrugs and shakes her head: There's nothing all that special about me to be fair. I'm just your average shapeshifter trying to get through life without being killed.
Maddie nudged Emily with her elbow: You’re still a shapeshifter! That’s well wicked.

She shakes her head again with a chuckle: It's nothing special, not compared to you anyway. You have cool parents and cool powers! What magic do you weild exactly?
Anything water related really. It’s kinda boring. She shrugs
