Emilie was now holding Jordie, as everyone else was crossing safely first. after a few minutes, emilie followed the rest of the group, giving them time to cross the river first.

Blade broke back into the clearing, unsurprised to see that everyone was gone.
Emilie, hoping the two that were still gone were observant, had left a line of nearly the same color as the grass, as she was walking, to lead the missing members to them.

Dawn was too far away to tell emilie that, but she pulled out a phone as soon as she heard jordie thinking about thanking her. Emilie soon smiled. "Of course. I have the same problem. Don't worry about hurting me, shocking me will make me stronger. I'm a bit worried about shocking you…"

Dawn smiled, texting emilie. Emilie, being able to see what dawn was typing, smiled. "Dawn says that it's really no problem, she's happy to help. Yeah, i guess we are. i managed to burn down a tree with the excess power from you, so i can see how strong we both are. I'll try to hold you completely above the water, but i'm kinda short, so… at the very least, i promise you won't drown."

His thoughts circle around the naiad's words and her chilling stare. Did they have to physically kill the candlemaker? Stars he hopes not but with the bit about doing it with his own candles…. And why bring the body back to the naiad? What was she going to do with the body? …Did Cole even want to know what she'll do? No. No he doesn't. Getting up on the sandbank and staying with the group is easy. Taming his racing thoughts is not.
