Character Chat

Just your average character chat, created because I need to develop my Lesbians

Anyone can join, you don't need to ask.

Rule:

• Swearing is OK, slurs etc is not, I don't care if they're in character
• Be nice and respect other people
• Keep it SFW
• No godmodding
• No more than 4 characters per person, and you can be in it without counting as a character

The setting is a large room, with the floor covered in floor almost like a lake, with a small "island" made out of stone bricks in the middle. There is no light except for a single lantern on the "island". It's hard to tell how large the room is or how deep the water is.

Runner squinted down at the water from his perch on the brick island, a slight frown on his face as he studied his surroundings. He wore a thick sweatshirt with the word "Clemson" printed across the chest in bold orange letters. A pair of jeans and sneakers capped off the unassuming outfit, but that wasn't the odd part of him. He held a thick, cast iron skillet loosely in his left hand, his upper body leaned slightly because of the weight. All in all, he just looked like a normal guy, other than the fact his nails were painted a dark purple.
"Hm," he said, his nose scrunching up. "Weird."

Clarence inched away from the water, "Just my luck, of course."
Arya clung onto her arm, the hood of her cloak once again threatening to slip off, "Where are we?"

Runner ignored the two for the time being, kneeling down to study the water closer. After a moment's deliberation, he dropped the pan into the water watching it sink out of view. The water was deep enough that the pan was probably lost for good.
"Pity," Runner mumbled, then turned to the other two and squinted his eyes.
(May I know if those two have any special abilities or not?)

"Hello." Arya said shyly, detaching herself

He stared at Clarence, a small light shining from his eyes for barely a second.
"Something on repeat." He seemed to be speaking to himself. "Like a clock. But it takes something…." That slash of light again, and he smiled. "Ah. Blood."
He then spoke to her. "You can manipulate time, correct?"

Clarence gave him the middle finger.
"Oh shit, which century is this again?" She tried a couple more rude gestures, "Oh well. Whatever. Fuck off. I'm not dealing with another one of those morons."

He was unbothered by the gesture. His eyes flashed in a similar manner as he turned to Arya. Instead of a smile, however, his lips twisted downward into a frown.
"Oh, my," He said quietly. "You possess something quite dangerous, do you not? Something too powerful for a mortal to safely possess."

"Mortal is not a very nice word," Arya said, "We don't call people mortals here."
Clarence looked ready for murder, "What the fuck are you?"

"Just a human, same as you," he said, studying his nails with a small frown. I need to redo these. I didn't have time to let them dry.

Clarence raised an eyebrow, "Right."

The sarcasm didn't go unnoticed. "Is there a problem?"

"We are stuck here." Arya said.

"Well, yes, that is rather bothersome," he agreed, staring back over to where his pan was dropped. "DOesn't look like I will be getting that back, either."

"I suggest you stay away from the water." Clarence said, "Fuck knows what's down there."

"Oh, I know what's down there," he said, not moving away. "Multiple demons, a siren, and possibly a mermaid. All very dangerous to our well-being."

"A fucking WHAT?!" Clarence looked around, "Oh I don't mean that I meant fish."
Arya looked a little confused, "Fish?"

"We're safe for now," he explained, sitting Indian-style near the edge. "As long as we don't touch the water, they will not know we are even here."

"I do hope so." Arya said

Well, the plan would have been fullproof if he hadn't already thrown the pan into the water. Dark forms began popping up in the water, circling the small island like a pack of wolves would stalk a small calf.
"Oh dear," Runner said, getting to his feet.

Clarence sighed, "Thanks."

"I hope you two are decent at fighting," he said, backing up into the middle of the island. "I'm sorry to tell you that I'm almost useless without my pan."

Clarence sighed and felt for her knives, "I am not going to question that."
Arya pulled a sword out from under her cloak

Clarence snorted, "Some people need to grow a brain." she eyed the newcomer(? Was he there the whole time?), "Nice sword, by the way."
Arya greeted him politely, well, as politely as possible, considering she's holding a very large sword.
