Maybe in a semi-secluded forest, a city/town to the east and a field to the west if so, anything to north and south?

Young-Jae wondered through the woods, his fox by his side… sometimes he wished it were a wolf, but it was fine, because it was still cute. His bright blue hair blowing in his face, revealing his third eye. His white feathers ruffled on his wings in the wind. He ducked under a tree as Naide (his fox) started running north.
"come on Niade! what is it now?"

It was the middle of the day, the sun shining down brightly on the woods, the whole thing seemed to be teeming with life, birds, squirrels, raccoons and many more were scurrying around. Something was taking refuge in the shade, stretched out to hide from the heat, if only there was some water around to lay in, it didn't matter though, the only thing that it wanted to do was relax…

Naide rushes out in the clearing, followed by Young-Jae. He stood in the middle of the clearing, looking around he saw something move out of the corner of his eye.
"Whos there?"
His voice echoed through the woods, soft like a lullaby, but strong. A gush of wind bursting through the clearing. His Third eye closed, while the others dart around. His wings spread out, then back it. Making another gush of wind go through the clearing. The leaves russle, and animals run away.
"come out"

It sat up with a squeak of surprise, somewhat curious and somewhat frightened, it slinked closer, staying low, but not enough to appear as if it was stalking a prey. The bushes rustled as it was just behind a small layer of leaves, hesitant to show itself.

It could sense something was off and it backed away from its hide, though making even more noise…

His third eye opening, looking around, seeing yet another figure. They were in the open, right in the middle of the clearing.
Something could jump out and catch them by surprise, but Young-Jae wouldn't let that happen. To Naide nor himself.
