Angel: Yeah! I haven't even gone through metamorphosis yet!

Angel: Oh, yeah. My species goes through a metamorphosis around their 16th year of life, during which we must travel to our birthplace and encase ourselves in a cocoon like pocket of amber and minerals from the trees that grow there. Amber is the oils that secrete from our skin instead of sweat. After metamorphosis, we can gain wings protruding from the back or waist, horns on our heads, and/or tails. Some of the more powerful ones even gain halos, though that usually only happens if you're destined to be the next sage/wizard/healer/seer.
Corwyn: Apparently there's a lot I don't know about your species.
Angel: Yep. I literally just learned this.
