The feminine figure moved a little bit more through the trees until finally the figure can be seen holding two crossbows, one in each of her hands. She continued to rush through the trees, looking for an opening to strike…but the empress ended up seeing her.

Enderstorm heard the faint rustling of leaves, and looked up sharply, seeing the figure before she could hide. Enderstorm stood and cloaked her wings around her in a dome to protect herself and Endan.

She summoned purple flames at the back of her throat, but didn’t release them yet.

The figure did not stop moving, but…they appear to be two figures running in different directions and continuously running as well. Both of the figures’ eyes are looking at the empress, but it also looks like they’re looking at each other.
(sorry for making you wait guys, I had a rough weekend) Endan slowly came to, the exhaustion of the last day making it difficult to simply roll over and go straight back to sleep. He finally regained consciousness upon feeling the Empress' wings shut quickly around them. Blearily, Endan scrubbed his face and wrinkled his nose in disgust upon feeling the dirt he'd been laying in rub into his skin. He looked up into Empress Enderstorm's face and saw that she was wide awake, her eyes glinting with both anger and fear and a slight purple glow emitting from her neck. "Your majesty?" Endan layed a reassuring hand on what the thought was her shoulder. "What is going on? Are you alright?"

A barrage of arrows come from two opposite directions of the forest, aiming at the same target: the people guarded by the empress. One of the barrages were all white arrows while the other were all black. Whilst midair, both the barrages stopped, changing their direction of aim. “Shiro Yajirushi!” “Kuro Yajirushi!” These chants can be heard before all the arrows turn their heads towards the empress’ wing; travelling at full speed.

Enderstorm growled, and released her flames, hot fire erupting from her throat at the arrows. The ones that hit, if normal arrows, will not be able to penetrate her dragon hide, though she will definitely feel them.
“Endan, I think someone is trying to kill me right now. See if you can sneak away. I don’t want to have to worry about protecting you at the moment.” Guards teleported to the Empress, enchanted blue swords glistening in the sun. They seem to be made of gemstone, and are incredibly strong and light, thanks to multiple enchantments. The guards teleported in the blink of an eye to the two figures, five for each, stabbing downward.

Both of the figures vanished back into the owls they used to be. A crimson color gas like substance came out of both of them and covered the guards that attacked them, ultimately taking control of the guard, or as Carlsen calls it as “Corrupting” them. They walked back to the empress, looking the same but they’re all stained in blood.

Enderstorm watched this exchange, her eyes watching the crimson gas cover her guards in horror as they walked, not teleport, back to her. She stared at the strange red substance on their bodies. It seemed to be like blood, but not blue like hers and her guards. She was suspicious of these ten guards, and with a flick of her tail called more over, who grabbed at the ones covered in blood and put enchanted binds on their hands, stopping them from teleporting away.

One of the ten corrupted guards smiled, before their body started to change into ‘sealed warriors’. Their bodies are surrounded by blades, not one, all of them. The blades pierced their bodies and crimson colored armor covered five of them, while navy colored armor covered the other five before they all push the guards binding them away…they are now much stronger than they were before. They jumped and rushed towards Endan, Dabria and Sawyer.
"Your majesty!" Endan gasped. "Please, do not touch those members of your guard." He furrowed his brow and clapped him hands together, chanting, "circum, circum, circum." Golden orbs surrounded the corrupted guards and lifted them from the ground, gently cradling them in such a way that resembled an ant in a soap bubble. "I'm very sorry for rushing in front so suddenly-" he gave a deep bow- "however, whatever those two figures emitted may still be absorbable. Sir Carlsen calls it 'corruption'. It takes complete control over your…" Endan seemed to trail off, staring at his palms before shaking his head as if to clear his thoughts. "It takes complete control over your body."

The orbs cracked as the guards began to slam on the edges.

Enderstorm looked at the guards sorrowfully, her eyes filled with emotional pain. Endan does not know this, but the species of the guards is exclusively male, and reproduces through Enderstorm’s eggs. She was the mother of most of the guards, and even though she did not know their names she was sad to see them hurt in such a way.
Endan observed Enderstorm's anguished expression and looked on sympathetically. "I am very sorry your majesty. I wish I could leave to your grief for a moment more, but I'm afraid my magic simply isn't enough to hold them for much longer."

As silent as the wind, a humanoid figure walked out from the forest…the raven mage took off the cloak that covered his body to reveal the mask he was wearing.
“My, my, you’ve trapped the creations inside these cute bubbles? How adorable of you…”
The raven mage said before snapping his finger, making all the guards slowly dissolve into nothing inside the bubbles.
“Now then, Endan…” he said before taking off his mask and his hood, behind the mask and the hood was a relatively young man with yellow sharp eyes and white hair which he brushed back…”Shall we dance…?”

Enderstorm sighed heavily, and summoned her flames, ready kill the guards as soon as the bubbles burst.

While the raven mage is with the others, alone in the woods, Carlsen is kneeling down and struggling to stand up. Hallucinations of a young man that looked almost the same as Carlsen are all that he can see.
He was stressed out…his eye had turned navy blue as he touched one of the trees in the forest. Taking his hand back, he pulled out an enchanted staff from the tree. Holding the staff up, he fired a barrage of electric and poison orbs at the commotion faraway before collapsing to the ground…fainting.

Endan grit his teeth. "Oh, you've done enough here to constitute a fight." His eyes flashed a dangerous blue and frost began to form on the tips of his fingers. Small ice throwing knives, sharp as a razor formed in his hands. "Though I do hate using such improper terms- "he tensed, ready to attack,

The raven mage smiled before disappearing leaving a spark and appearing again behind Endan tapping on his shoulder, coursing high levels of electricity to slow down his movement. Before Endan could attack him, he flew up with his wings and cast a blue lightning bolt to strike Endan directly.
Endan's magic reacted a split second before his brain. A burst of ice jutted up through the cobble inches away from his face, stopping the bolt in its tracks. He grit his teeth through the pain of the earlier shock and threw one of his daggers, though slower than usual.

Enderstorm watched Endan and Carlsen, her tired brain not sure what to do.

The raven mage looked the other way when the dagger was directed at him. The dagger pierced his left, which made him move slower and has blood dripping from his wing.
“You insolent brat…” He said faintly.
As he flew upwards trying to escape, another figure can be seen flying towards the escaping mage, slicing his neck open before he could return. Before anything, the detached head of the raven mage fell to the ground in front of Endan, followed that was his body. The figure landed softly in front of the group, slightly showing their face. The figure was wearing a black traditional yukata with a white fox symbol on the back. They wore a fox mask, covering every part of their face except their mouth in which they smiled as they said…
“I apologize for the rather…rude coming…I sincerely mean that…” They bowed once before looking at Endan.
“You are…if I remember correctly…Endan Randrat from the nation, Alsteinthern…correct…?”

Enderstorm watched Endan and Carlsen, her tired brain not sure what to do.
The raven mage isn’t Carlsen. He is just a corrupted creation made by Carlsen.
