Nyx looked up as they entered. She was still singing, stroking Vozzie's hair.

"Just checking in…" D2H said

Nyx motioned for them to shoo.

Vozreal woke up.
"Babe?"

"Yes, Vozzie?" She tugged his head just underneath her neck, his cheek resting on her sternum.

"How long was I asleep for?"

"Not too long. A few minutes."

"Okay then…"

She kissed his hair. "You look adorable in your sleep."

"Thanks. You too."

Her nose turned pink, and she smiled.
"Anyway, I feel better. You're right, the cold does help when you're sick."

"I'm glad." He told her, going to make some food.

Nyx got up and followed him to the kitchen.
Tom looked up as they walked in. They were sucking on another sour candy.

He started prepping

"What'r'e you making?" Tom inquired, leaning forwards with both elbows on the counter.
"Whatever it is, I'll help," Nyx volunteered, searching for an apron.

"Making Fondue!" He told ToM.

"What's fondue?" Nyx and Tom said simultaneously.

"It's where you cook it yourself in a boiling beer or cheese pot!"

Nyx still looked puzzled, but Tom nodded.

He turned on the beer/cheese pot heater.

"Here, I found the aprons," Nyx said, holding them up. "Do you want one?"

"Yes." He said, putting it on

Nyx grinned and put hers on too. "Do you need me to get anything out?"

"Any beer in the fridge?"

She checked. "Nope. There's nothing in it, actually."

He made beer appear and poured it into the beer pot.

Nyx watched. "Is there anything else I can do to help?"

"Steaks. Get steaks."
