She shook her head viciously.
The man in the lab coat spoke over the loud speaker. "Oh, come now Theresa! You should be a pro at this by now! Haven't you gone through this exact experiment before?"
That voice… The memories crashed against her skull. Being strapped down as she was carved open. Forced to kill kids her age for the sake of survival.
"Tess, listen to us. It's all right. You have to calm down. Try to move to the corner, okay?"
"Tess…they're not here, whoever hurt you isn't here."

She continued to tremble, her body heating gradually. The plastic slowly melted beneath her. She didn't seem to notice.
"And we are here, and we need you to calm down so you can help us. You two are the only ones who can get us out of here."
Tristan watched everyone escape and frowned as he realized how weak he was, “What so they want with me? I don’t understand.” He muttered quietly.
Anna glanced over at Tristan. "Enderstorm, can you get us out? Tess's melting her own ball right now."
"Tess it's all gonna be ok." Lacie said softly though tears formed in her eyes.
(Same, we can leave and come back tomorrow for more if you're all good with that because sleep is an important part of life.)

Enderstorm ripped through the plastic with her claws, looking to make sure Tessa was okay. She then moved on to the next sphere, Tristan’s.
Tristan looked at the Enderstorm girl.

The plastic melted. Tess fell. Her eyes snapped open, training kicking in. Her scales quickly came into place and she tucked into a heavily armed ball. She hit the ground, rolling through the dirt and creating a small crater. She stumbled to her feet, slightly dizzy but unscathed.
"Tess, are you alright?"

Anna glanced over at Tristan. "Enderstorm, can you get us out? Tess's melting her own ball right now."
Enderstorm nodded.
“I can also carry any of you if you need me to. Being a dragon has its perks,” she replied.

"Ye–Yeah. I'll live." She refused to take in her surroundings, however much her instincts screamed at her to.
"That sounds good. Get us all out, and then once we're down we can fix Tess and figure out what's going on."
"Tess?" Lacie softly whispered

Enderstorm ripped through the side of Tristan’s sphere, and held out a claw so she could carry him to the ground.
"Please. Take a deep breath and calm down."
"Just breathe for now, Tess. We'll be down soon."

"I'm fine," she said sharply, eyes clouded.
"No, you're not ok." bit her lip to keep tears from falling. She hated seeing people so…vunerable and weak.
It made her feel useless. Like she couldn't do anything to fix it.
(I think everybody's leaving so assume Tristan gets onto Enderstorm)

"I said I'm fine!" She finally allowed herself to assess the forested arena. It was… familiar, somehow. Like…
Like our training arena, she thought. It was a close rendition, with twisted and fallen trees everywhere, poisonous plants, choking vines, and plenty of places to hide. She could smell the other people the scientist had captured… somewhere. Again, just like the arena back home, the forest messed with her senses, altering them. She wouldn't be able to rely on them alone.
