(We can keep it pretty slow) Anna continued bouncing around the circle of tired faces. "Good morning! I had a dream last night that I was eating mushrooms!"
(Ok then nvm we'll come back later)
Tristan sighed, "I don't dream often."
(Aight okay then)
Enderstorm (in her sixteen year old human form) stood up and stretched her arms, watching as everyone woke up.

Tessa was still curled up in sleep, curling her tail tighter around her body
Enderstorm began humming a depressing song as she gathered a pile of branches and leaves, and then quickly shifted and set them on fire.
“I’m going to see if there is anything to eat in that forest. I will be back soon.” Enderstorm crept away, trying not to wake anyone.
Tristan watched Ender head into the forest and observed his sleeping companions. In their sleep, they looked peaceful, undisturbed, happy. None of those feelings are what they felt when awake. *This place is a disaster waiting to happen, yet they're so calm. So brave…" He thought, lightly kicking a pebble, as he looked into the sky.

Tessa groaned and rolled over, then sat up–bedhead on point. She tilted her head and tapped behind her ear. "Uh…hm… that's news…" she mumbled.
"What is?" Tristan turned his attention to the slowly rising Tessa. "Is something wrong with your ear piece?"
group
She groggily shook her head, tapping the earpiece again. "No… they're talking. Uh… more test subjects?" She zoned out, listening to the crackling in her ear.
Tristan's eyes widened, "More test subjects? Are they talking about new ones? Like us? Or are there even more recent ones?"
