Andi rolls his eyes.

Kathy smirks.

Reo watches Andi and then looks to Kathy, then back to Andi.

Varuni twisted her finger that had gotten caught in her skirt earlier. it had been turned around, so she fixed it.

Reo and Andi both stay in an awkward silence.

Kathy smirks, “Varuni, gotta say thats the coolest shit I’ve ever seen-“

"oh. sorry, i wasnt thinking about it.. sorry if it creeped you out." she said and signed to Reo and Andi.

Reo huffs, “I am not deaf, I merely translate for him.” He looks at Andi.

Ando laughs, “Calm down Reo.”

"i know that, i was saying it for you and signing it for Andi." Varuni said.

Reo hums softly.

(Back!) Cole just sits there and tries to process all the new people. Where did they all come from? What were they all doing here? …Was there any THING else in here?

Kathy shrugs. “Hell if I know, man-“

Reo and Andi sit in silent.

Varuni sits down, not really knowing what to do.

Kathy huffs, “Well then. How about we just start askin questions?”

"Sure. What are your names?" Varuni asked

Kathy hums. “I’m kathy.”

"i'm Varuni" she said, signing it as well.

Andi watches, “Andi.”

Reo hums, “Reo.”

He sighs and fiddles with the cuffs of his shirt. Seems like he didn’t have anything to lose by this point. “Cole.”

Kathy smiles, “nice names.” He hums, “what do you guys do?”

Reo signs to Andi.

Andi shrugs, "Survive."

Kathy nods, “fair.”

"Depends. I zone out a lot." Varuni said, signing it as well

kathy chuckles, “also fair.”

Andi sighs, "Stop saying fair. Besides kill people, what do you do?"

kathy smirks, “Well I live with my chosen family. It’s- pretty big. And i take care of my niece and little brother.”

Andi hums, "So you're a psycho killer that's a family guy?"

Kathy nods. “Yup.”

"that sounds nice. The family part, mostly." Varuni said. "Sometimes I zone out for a hundred years or so. then I realize, and try to help people, before zoning out in a different tree."
