"Abie, you can't play twice," said Seven gently, patting the shep on the head before hurrying off behind Atticus. "Are you all right?"

"Yare yare…" he said

"I never told anyone this… but I have sexual dysfunction." He was ace.

(I know I’m not part of this and I know you’re playing a character, but I just want to say, uh could you not refer to asexuality as “sexual dysfunction”, ever? it really rubs me the wrong way.)

(Hey I understand you want to be historically accurate, but here's some things: if you aren't asexual yourself, and as I understand it, you are not, you shouldn't be including things like this regardless of historical accuracy because it can and will be seen as you calling asexuality a disorder. Additionally, if it makes you uncomfortable and you aren't doing it for educational purposes or because it's important, you also shouldn't be including it. Also, if your character is immortal, iirc although I could be missing some context here, and spent a portion of their life being told that their sexuality is a mental disorder, okay, but as times develop and it's no longer treated as a mental disorder, your character should not be defining it as such, and even back then I doubt he would call it that so openly, as most who identify as ace will tell you that it is not a mental issue, even when they have people actively telling them it is. Especially with the context of him just having stated "I know how it feels to be hurt because you're not straight", it would have been a good time to say something along the lines of "I'm asexual and until very recently, it was considered to be a disorder" and possibly talk about some of the things that asexual people face, like the pervasiveness of sex in our culture, the intermixing of sex and romance, and corrective rape rather than himself calling it a dysfunction. Again, I'm sure I'm missing some context here, and I'm sure you didn't mean any harm, but it's still harmful and I'd rather you know going forward. Hope I didn't interrupt too much)

(he was born in 1850 and died in 1865, at 15 years old, for context. He also doesn't feel like he's allowed to call himself asexual, for more context. And thank you, actually! I don't know much about asexuality, and that really helped! Thanks a million! And you didn't interrupt anything! The only bad thing is that part of the conversation is in the past, so I can't correct it!)

They played. Abie, who was surprisingly good at it despite her lack of opposable thumbs or even fingers, came in fifth out of twelve; Seven came in a close second.

Ben, somehow, came in first.

While Seven congratulated Ben, Abie ran up to the new girl, her fur turning light yellow: curious. hello.

"Who's here?" He turned around to look at the newcomer.
"Hello, ma'am!" He bowed. He was 5'6"
