The woman went flying backward, hitting Arien. Instead of knocking him over, she went into him. Arien doubled over, and his form seemed to shift and change.
And then, Arien wasn't there anymore. The woman was, and she was flesh.

Evie coughed herself awake. She was laying on the ground in the forest. Her eyes widened, and she sat bolt upright. No… She must've let out Jocelyn. "Ellie!" she cried, standing up. "Arien! Xander! Miko!"

Lareiene cursed. Suddenly, she bent double. When she stood up, it wasn't her. It was Arien. The fire halo was floating around his head.
