"Wow, this is why I like you," Ellie said throwing her hands to her mouth. "I mean like you as a friend," Ellie awkwardly explained.

"I like you as a friend too." He seemed to imply that might not be what he meant.
Ellie looked at him in disbelief. She gave Arien the most genuine smile she could possibly create. "Y-You mean it," Ellie mumbled under her breath.
