Miko knew her question even before she spoke it "what is your biggest fear"
"Death.." Ellie said looking at her feet.

"heh, happens to everyone no matter what," Ellie frowns.

Miko blushed then got on one knee and pretended to hold a ringbox
Ellie looked at Miko and put her hands against in shock. "Really!" Ellie mumbled happily.

Miko's blush furthered up her cheeks as she nodded yes
Ellie jumped into Miko's arms with joy. She didn't really know if this counted as a proposal but she was still happy.

Miko put her arms around Ellie and laughed a little
"Can this count for real," Ellie giggled.

"I don't know but i do have the ring. I made it from gold and coal." Miko chuckled nervously
"Really! Let me see it," Ellie chimed happily.

Miko stood up off her knees and walked into the back room and grabbed the two pieces then when she got into the living room she held out the band but not the coal "one part is a show then it will be complete"
"What do you mean by that?" Ellie grinned looking at the band.

Miko held out the hand that had the coal in it but kept it balled up then put Ellie's hand under hers flat palm up. heating the coal to just the right temperature then dropped a diamond into Ellie's hand "That is what I meant" a smile played at the edges of her lips while she waited for Ellie's reaction
Ellie looked at the diamond in shock. She gleamed brightly not knowing what to say. "I- I can't…. is that-,"

"yes it is and it's real" Miko replied as she put the diamond in place on the ring and welded it with fire trying not to burn anything
Ellie gently rubbed her fingers against the ring. "This can't be real Miko," Ellie mumbled

"It is and i believe the gesture wasn't finished" Miko said softly grabbing the ring and getting on one knee "If you would say yes I would be the happiest person in the world"
Ellie burst into silent tears."Oh my god, this can't be happening," Ellie smiled through her tears. "Miko I would love to, my answer is yes," Ellie beamed through a face-full of tears.
