"As a date." He said, maybe asking her out? Who knows?

"That is… if you want to…"

She went pink. "A date?"

"You know… a romantic setting…"

"I know what a date is, you moron." She smacked him playfully in the arm. "Of course I'd like to see the pyramids."

"Wanna go on a date there then?"

"I'd love to see the pyramids." Her eyes shone.

"We can go now, if you wish~"

"Now?"

"Yeah… just grab my arm…"

"Oh, you mean like now now."

"Yes. grab my arm."

Nyx reached up and wrapped her fingers tightly around his arm, squeezing her eyes shut.

And suddenly they were there.
"Here we are!"

It was the dead of night, but still warm. The 3 AM sky was sprinkled with stars. Ahead of them, the pyramids rose like great sentinels of the desert. Nyx gasped and put her shaking hands up in front of her mouth. "Oh my gosh…"
To her surprise, and unwillingness, tears sprung to her eyes.

"you like?"

"I never dreamed, in my entire life, that I'd see these." She stepped closer to the great limestone monolith. Tears were falling down her face.
If only Seven and Phoenix were here.

"Don't cry…"

She sniffed and brushed a tear from her cheek. "It's okay."

"Shall we explore?"

"Explore? We can do that?"

"Sure! Only on the outside though…"

"Oh." Disappointment flashed across her face for a split second, and then she looked up at the pyramid. "Can we climb on the outside?"

"Sure! Race you to the top!"

"No fair, you're two feet taller than I am!" Nyx hoisted herself up the first block and began scrambling to the top. "I get a one-minute head start!"

"Nah!" He said, climbing fast

Nyx shook her fist at him and continued clambering up. Despite her heavy combat boots and her bracelets, she was fast.

She wasn't far behind Vozreal

"You turd!" Nyx yelled after him, crawling up the next block. Fortunately for them, there was no "top" to race to, as they couldn't possibly climb up the smooth limestone facing at the summit. Now it was just a race to the edge of the smooth white rock.
