((True. Like I said, even if she could mess with his gravitational pull, she'd have to stay out of range. Depends on the situation, and even then she's always careful to not recklessly get in magical fights))

Despite being outside Eve could hear the entire conversation. "Oh shut it." She said, rather loudly, leaning against the doorframe. "You both need to cool off. Runner, chill, this chick doesn't have anything to do with Vanguard, they wouldn't work with anyone with ripped jeans like those." She turned the pink haired girl. "You need to screw off. What happened to quiet time?" With that, she pushed off the doorframe, spinning around on her heel.
(Vanguard is a whole, like, guardian group, not a singular person
((Runner's getting a little sick of being babysitted, imao

Glove watched them from the corner of her eyes, playing with the cigarette in her mouth. Hmm. She went back to her table, grabbed her cropped leather jacket, paid her bill, and left the cafe as well, pulling her hood up and stomping on her discarded cigarette.
When Eve passes Runner, who was just chilling outside she paused. "I'm not healing you when she sends you 40 feet into the air, ya know." With that she moved on, returning to her spot outside the cafe.
"I'll rip her fucking head off before she gets the chance."
He closed his eyes, sighing as he let all of the power he was still holding ease into the air. "You're right. I'm sorry."
Eve ignored this conversation, figuring it had nothing to do with her, and watched the pink haired girl.
"Well, probably the last place your friends were."
Eve sighed. "I thought you said they left you some kind of scavenger hunt of something?"

Glove weaved through the crowd with a flat expression, not looking over at them. This is certainly interesting. Mother would be proud, no? she thought grimly.
Eve froze. "Your friend's scavenger hunt led you here?" She asked in a horrified voice. "Could… Could you describe your friends for me?"
group
Glove somehow blended into the crowd despite her neon pink hair and odd clothing. Scavenger hunt, eh? She ducked under a shadowed area to get closer to the group, pulling her hood farther over her face to hide her hair.
Suddenly, Eve grabbed her companions arms, dragging them down a nearby ally. "I… I may know where your friends are, but I need you to describe them to me in detail." She led them through the ally to another, less busy street. She wasn't sure why, but she felt like she was being followed. Once a spy, always a spy, I guess.

Glove sighed and silently followed, altering her weight so she was as light as a feather and her steps were unheard. She leaned against a the wall next to the alley to look a little less suspicious to passersby, peering down at her beat up cell phone.
"Okay… Felix. He's my best friend, grew up in a candy factory. Clear skin, slightly crooked nose, very bony, brown eyes, kinda tan, fourteen. Emma. Red frizzy hair, big glasses, hazel eyes, tiny nose, average skin, a little pale, fourteen. Raven. Black hair, dark brown eyes, very pale, werewolf, fifteen. Ava. Gorgeous tall Asian cheerleader, 'nuff said. That good?"
"That's…" Eve paused, unsure whether she should tell her. "That's good." She stopped walking. "We're going to have to make a stop before we head to… to…" Eve turned around, not finishing her sentence. "We'll have to stop by my house so I can grab my… things. Follow me." She glanced back at her companions. "You're going to need something to defend your selves with. Any preferred weapons?"

Glove tilted her head up, sensing something nearby, then scowled when she saw what it was. A pure black butterfly, fluttering above her head. Mother… What do you want now?
