A soft smile graced his features. His gaze shifted towards the table that held what was called 'coffee'. The male tilted his head, forked tongue flicking out, testing the air. The liquid carried a slight familiar scent to him, but there was also something unfamiliar about it. He was curious about trying it, though shifted back to look at the ones before him.
"Depends on what you consider magic as well I'm sure."

"Witch town?" Skylar glanced at Matthew uneasily, he picked up her hand and held it.
“Ah, yes,” Victoria responded to Eli and Mutaro. Not wanting to make Skylar or Matthew uncomfortable, she decided to change the subject. Remembering something Mutaro’s mate said earlier, she said, clearing her throat a little, “Um, did you say you have little ones? I have a little one too.”

His gaze shifted to Victoria as she had addressed him. Mutaro's tail swept to the side, his arms coming to cross in front of his chest.
"Indeed we do."
One of his arms moved, coming to rest a hand under his chin, "This would be our second clutch. Three chicks, all only about 3 years old."
"Then our eldest son, who is 97 years old now. Though for a dragon, he is still quite young."

"It appears we are all parents then." Eli says.
Aura starts to speak"We have one daugther, well, two," she ponders a little and keeps going, "Our youngest is actually our niece, but we can't bring ourselves to see her as any other than our child."
"Plus ocacionally taking care of some kids who have nowhere to stay." Eli adds.
Dragon? Well, explains the tails, and the weird whoosh and few moments without light when Mutaro’s mate left. Then again, Victoria was used to seeing reptilian creatures with wings. She tried not to think about it too hard.
“Aww that’s wonderful,” she smiled. “I’ve got a friend taking care of my 5 month old son.”

Mutaro nodded to the woman's comment, still holding his smile. Though, he seemingly stood a bit taller, a low sound coming from his chest, like a purr, but more rough and deeper.
"Aye, something which I'm quite proud of, and still surprised."
The male tilted his head, "Must be a tiny little thing your little one."

Victoria chuckled. “You should’ve seen him when he was a newborn. Foster parents?” She asked Skylar.

Mutaro's gaze looked over to the one who spoke; Skylar. His head remained tilted, a more curious expression crossing his features. 'Foster parent'? Couldn't say he had ever heard that term before. Then again, he probably did, but never thought too much about it.
He glanced to Victoria, asking the question outloud.
"Not sure what that means, but I'm assuming something like someone taking in orphans?"

"Um- well actually some of them are orphans. But no. Most of their parents are still alive." Skylar told him.

"If it helps, foster parents are a child's legal guardian without adopting said kid. I had a few, back when I was younger." Aura explained.

Aura heard a voice of a young person, "Darling, do you hear that?" She asked, to which her husband nodded, "We must help, don't we?" And they both stood up and walked towards the voice.
They saw a girl with red hair and freckles looking through every nook and cranny, hoping to find at least one of her siblings. She was the oldest after all.

Eli stepped in and tried to calm down the girl in front of him, "Ms. If we may…" he looks at Aura, they both nod in agreement, "We are… ahem… psychics of some sort… we can try reading. If you allow us, of course."
"If not, we can help to look for them, in the traditional way," adds Aura.
