The man laughed loudly. “Apparently you have no idea who I am. It’s not surprising, given my bloodline. I am Neirym. I fear none of your ghosts. Ghosts are just mortals that have lost most of their puny abilities. But….” His eyes glittered dangerously. “If I recall aright, you just threatened and insulted me.” He smiled cruelly. “What say our gracious host gets some personal attention?” He shouted a little louder than seemed natural, “My fellows! This puny mouse man threatens us! Doubtless it is some pointless plot against you all. For I am sure you are capable of defending yourselves. But let us reward him for his treacherous thoughts!” His eyes glittered pink. “For the first time since I came here I think I will enjoy myself.”

'Yeah right mate' he crossed his arms and scowled 'You're stupid, you know that, right? Ghosts aren't mortals anymore, they're souls and spirits that have the power to touch and kill and possess and mind control and turn into any shape they wan't. They have all sorts of powers at their fingertips and I have them under my control. I mean, if they brought you down to their world, they could actually brainwash you too.' While he was talking, he hid his hands under his arms, and silently clicked his fingers. The sound was at too low a frequency to hear without a certain power, but the ghosts all heard it loud and clear. Slowly, but surely, they rose from their graves and left their Earth to travel upwards towards the mansion. They weren't fast enough to be here as of now, but Zach knew power was coming for him.
'So I have every right to threaten you all. I just won't actually go through with it if you just leave me alone, alright? Don't plan to fight me, what will winning even grant you? The ghosts won't be in your favour.'

“Deal~” She purred, “I won’t talk about it any longer, even if killing is just a hobby of mine. Don’t worry, you’re much too simple to be a part of my collection, plus, that’s not something a friend would do, right~?” Actinolite stood up straight again and closed her eyes. “I’ll only show you my actual job; which is much less ‘gory’ as you put it. Though my poor failed subjects are quite a terrifying sight according to others, so I’ll only bring in my sweet Angel Aura and Druzy, their forms are almost perfect!” She smiled cheerfully, her attitude changing in the blink of an eye and clapped her hands a couple times. Actinolite pulled a floating screen out from the back of her head, swiping through pictures to show a pretty humanoid.
She had pink, wavy shoulder length hair, light cyan skin. Their eyes were kind and had lavender irises, the clothing she wore was white and simple. But even though something looked off about her proportions, the most shocking thing about her is that she had six beautifully opalescent wings sprouting from her back.

'Oh… aright, something worth seeing or somethin'?' He looked at the picture, and gawked in awe. The lady was right, this person was rather beautiful, and the wings on the back were amazing. 'Who is broad? This one of your works? Looking good… how did she get those wings? I want wings, damnit.'

Actinolite looked rather pleased that he liked her. “Why, yes! She’s my work, and she’s the best I’ve had so far! She does have some flaws, but those kinks can be fixed.” She smiled, “Don’t worry, she’s incredibly strong, she could probably fly with you in her arms! That’s Angel, she’s the sturdiest I’ve made, and Druzy is the smartest, her form is completely solid, but she’s very small.” Actinolite zoomed in on the picture, showing a spiked purple figure that laid across one of Angel’s legs. They looked to be the size of a kitten.

Neirym sighed loudly through his nose. He snapped his fingers and a flash of pink light surrounded the rat man, freezing him in place. “Show some respect, mouse.” He glared at him irritably. He nodded at the mirror. “Nice creatures, dear,” he said to Actinolite.

Zach looked again and smiled… or at least he would have. No matter what he tried, he found himself paralyzed. Not an inch of him could move, not a bit of him could speak or even close his eyes. He struggled and tormented against it, but it felt impossible. He couldn't scream for help, for vocal chords seemed shut up. He was stuck in a leaning, cross armed position looking over the tablet, which he feared was too subtle to show he was frozen.

(pfft makes sense. I'm mostly testing out my idea for my character, he's meant to be a bit more of a smooth talker, but just as punk and horrible at handling gore, also rude and nonchalant. Him being just rude here is still fun though)

(I feel exactly the same as Painted Wings about my character. I would hate/be terrified to encounter him irl but when I’m writing him when he’s not being too evil mind I can have quite a bit of fun.)

(haha yeahhhhh it's great and awesome. Only problem I'm finding right now is that he's pretending to be in charge but he's powerless right now. Not a bad thing plot wise, but he's VERY vulnerable right now, so who knows what could happen to him?)

Neirym smiled, without a trace of malevolence, honestly a little impressed by the craft. “I am amazed at your skill. Is that where your power lies?” he asked with just the faintest trace of seduction in his voice.

He stopped short, confused. “Manipulation of genetics.” He allowed the mouse some of its vocal cords back as a distraction.
