Shadowclaw kept running. The ThunderClan cats just kept coming and coming. The cats eventually circled Shadowclaw. Shoot… He thought. "Surrender." One of the cats said. "Ok, ok…" Shadowclaw mumbled. The cats laughed as they took Shadowclaw to his old den. He sat in the back and sighed. Was this home? Or was this not? This wasn't the way he thought he would come back. He turned to the wall and laid down.
Darkspot's padded into the den, a squirrel held tightly in her jaw. she knew this tom like the back of her paw, it was Shadowclaw the tom she had been meeting up for moons before she gave birth to his kits and was forced to drop him as a mate. Guilt flooded through her as memories flooded back, giving a quiet sight she forced herself to hiss. "here. we don't need our prisoner to go hungry now, do we?"

Shadowclaw turned around. He looked up at the she-cat. His eyes widened. Darkspots… he thought, picking up the food. He bit into it and swallowed. "Thank you…" He said, quietly. "Whitestar will be happy aye? You caught the son of Adderstar…" He looked down. He wanted to look up at Darkspots again, but he couldn't. He remembered things. Things he didn't want to remember.
Darkspots stiffened, "listen, prisoner, i'm going to be your guard for today s-so," her voice cracked, coughing she corrected herself, "so don't try anything." Darkspots flicked her tail, and blinked her pale yellow eyes darkened with sadness as she let out a quiet mew, "please, don't try anything."

Shadowclaw sighed. "Sure…I won't try anything…" He said, quietly. He was still looking down. He knew that Darkspots knew that he was the one that met up many moons before. He wanted to ask about the kits but he couldn't. He didn't want to. My kits are already apprentices… He thought looking up to Darkspots. "How's life?" His voice cracked while asking.
Darkspots sat down, "it could go better, but now that your here its alright." she looked outside of the den, "i just missed you, y'know?" she looked back over at Shadowclaw who was looking away from her. "they became apprentices. Moonpaw got Shrewfrost and Quailpaw got Fawnleg. Flashnose missed you too, you remember him, right? well the entire clan thinks the kits are his and I don't want to tell them otherwise."

Shadowclaw jolted up. "Flashnose? Haven't seen him in a while…" He sighed. "At least the kits are aliv-" He realized that Darkspots only mentioned two kits. "What about the other one..?" He asked, worried about his kits.

Darkspots froze, "I….I don't know…" she dug her claws into the ground, "he left…. he was taken or…or something!" she felt something press against her, looking up, Shadowclaw and at her side. Darkspots let out a shaky breath "he would've been an apprentice with his siblings…."
Shadowclaw stoped. "Oh. . ." There was a long period of silence. "Well…that..that was a surprise…" He sighed. "What now…? Im stuck here and…" He stopped as someone came in.

two apprentice pushed into the den, one blinking with two different colored eyes, the other blinking with pale blue eyes. "hey mom! whos this?" the one with chimera markings mewed, "yeah! who is he? he smell like crow-food and heather!" Darkspots looked over at the two apprentices, "Moonpaw! Quailpaw! say hello to…." she looked over at Shadowclaw, "say hello to Shadowclaw, he'll be staying in ThunderClan for a bit…" the chimera cat mewed, "how come he looks like Moonpaw?" Darkspots flinched as Moonpaw laughed, "image in he was our father!" Quailpaw rolled his different colored eyes, "haha! your so stupid Moonpaw! a ShadowClan warrior, our father? you say the oddest stuff sometimes!"
okay so Quailpaw is a tom with ginger and black chimera markings and one yellow and one blue eye, and Moonpaw is a small, round black she-cat with grey paws and nose marking with pale blue eyes. ))

Shadowclaw cleared his thought. After so many years, he was seeing his kits. "Hello to you to…" He said, trying to keep his tears back. He was able to. He looked at Moonpaw and Quailpaw. He sighed. "Hopefully I won't be a bother to you guys," Shadowclaw said, looking down.
