Tseth: He grabs the person’s arm with his metal one, a grip that could nearly crush their arm. “That’s quite rude of you to say, now.”

Pherløxž: Sighs "Yes, I can read your thoughts. That one, and that one, and that one. . . all of them. And yes, I said 'Naveil.' And no, I didn't hurt him. Not physically, at least."
???: Their entire body tenses, and they drop the knife. They turn their attention to trying to wrench their arm away from Tseth. “Hey—!”

Tseth: He tightens his grip slightly in response, looking severely unamused. “Oh yeah. Try to break free of the guy with the metal arm. This is fun, really.” He grabs a sword with his left hand, and holds it to their throat. “I’m bringing you back to the others. Keep struggling, and you’ll get a lot worse than a broken wrist.”
Alex: He paces around the clearing, not knowing what to do. He looks troubled.
???: They stop struggling and glare at Tseth. “You’ll pay for this.”

Tseth: Heh. “Really? How much does it cost?” He starts walking through the forest, back to the group. He keeps his hold on the person as they go through.

Salmook: that… sounds not scary. yeah, that's what Nav-Nav would want him to think: not scary.
the Redm- no. the not-a-Redmalus is not scary. which is why Salmook is not running away and cowering like a baby.
This thing met Naveil and lived. If that doesn't mean it's tough, nothing does.

Salmook: it sounds almost unbelievable- like something out of a fairytale. Naveil? scared? never. but another glance at the… thing and..? he could believe it, alright.

Salmook: still cowering, and not at all convinced that Pherløxž isn't about to rip him to shreds
"It's… it's very rude to be in someone else's head. There's top secret… secrets in there, and- and…"
he immediately thinks about something he doesn't want to- the time he and Naveil killed somebody. to be fair, it was mostly Naveil, but it's not like Salmook did anything to stop it…

(Me waiting to continue the murder mystery plot cause me and ame were brainstorming ideas last night:)
???: They look around and seem to see something hiding in the trees. They squint as they try to discern it, then relax from their tense state, smirking. “I have a feeling you’ll find out soon enough.”
Suddenly, Tseth is surrounded. About 5 or 6 other humans circle him, blocking off all means of escape.
Resh: He snaps out of his zoned out state, looking around. He sees Salmook cowering, and Pherløxž watching. “What the hell is going on..?” Is he terrorizing this child? Should I fight him? I can take him in a fight… right?

Tseth: He tenses, pressing the sword to the person’s throat as others surround him. His wings flare out defensively. “Any closer, and they die.” Fuck, they’re all around me. They’re behind me. Get away-
Alex: He watches Salmook and Pherløxž, before turning away when Pherløxž shifts to his first form. Too weird to comprehend right now. He debates going into the forest, but ultimately stays in the clearing, still pacing around nervously.
One of them speaks up. They’re holding two large knives, and they seem to be the leader of the group.
Leader: “Unhand Birch at once.”
Birch: Freezes and stares at the group, wide-eyed “Get that fucking sword away from me-“

Tseth: He stands his ground, glancing around at everyone surrounding him. Waiting for anyone to make a move. “Or else?”
Leader: She tilts her head, looking slightly amused. “Or else we’ll have to take them back by force.”

Tseth: “If I let them go, then what? How can I be sure you won’t attack me after?” Get out of here, get away from them, shut up. Focus.
Leader: She stares at Tseth for a moment before speaking again. “I have no time for this.” she makes a vague hand gesture to everyone else.
As the leader gestures at them, the rest of the group quickly lunges at Tseth, their weapons drawn. One of them knocks the sword out of his hand, and the rest restrain him.

Tseth: He struggles as they restrain him, wings flapping in vain. “Fucking- no-” Should have escaped when you had the chance, now you’re going to be captured again. You won’t see him again. “Help- Alex!” He tries to call out for Alex, but from this distance it wouldn’t be heard.
One of the people restraining him stuffs a piece of cloth into his mouth, gagging him. They all look at the leader, waiting for more instruction.
Leader: “Just take him. Hold him hostage. One of the others is bound to come looking for him… especially this ‘Alex’ person.”
The group drags him away, Birch and the leader following. They bring him to a camp-out area quite a long way away.
