Legitness. Those dreamers are sweet.
anyone got a superhuman world with lit characters LETS CHAT!
^ Thanks :) Originally they could also dream the future, but it created a lot of problems with the plot. It made it hard for big reveals to happen when anywhere between one to three characters already knew what was going to happen so I had to scrap it. But yeah, they are pretty neat.
Dude. I want to be a Dreamer so badly. It would be better than SAO.
Btw, what time is it for you?
oh geez I went to sleep and came back to lots of things
but honestly all your guys' stuff sounds really cool
The second story is actually very interesting. Wish I had that much creativity
As for the third one. It is amazing. I love what you do with the dreamers and the seekers. I wish I had enough creativity to come up with such things. My characters are fighting a curropted government. Pretty cliche.

Thank you so much! I love that you guys all seem interested in my stuff because I love talking about my stories. It really means a lot.

To be fair, there's a lot you can do with that kind of story. There's a lot you can do to put your own unique spin on things and come up with something that's still original if that makes sense.
I would advise finding everything not covered in Hunger Games and Divergent (or Maze Runner) and do those instead.

i'll try those. i'll get to binge watch movies too so that's a plus. thank you! never really thought about that.

Read the books too.
obviously. I think we can all agree that the books are much better than the movies.

Do you have an idea of what you want it to focus on. Action? Adventure? I’ve never watched the series so I don’t know anything about it. If you already have some ideas I wouldn’t mind looking at them to help you!

Why, thank you ever so greatly @gussyno I want to focus on both action and adventure, but I have severe writer's block.
So do you have a main character and a main antagonist already. You could then up on personality and background and find ways that could create conflict between them.

thank you so much that helps a lot
I have three stories going on, but just my main story involves super powers.
So, basically, its an post apocalyptic story where humans detroyed the planet by polluting the environment and abusing its resources, so Earth got its revenge, leading to a major cataclism. Tsunamis drowned whole cities, former dormant volcanoes awoke, some regions were almost completely frozen, the world is in complete caos. In this scenario, the governments lost their powers and most of the countries ceased to exist.
The story focus on eight teenagers that used to live on the streets, until the day they were kidnapped. They wake up one year later, in a random place, with no idea of what happened, where they were or who took them, the only thing they know is that now they have superpowers.
Their powers are pyrokinesis, aerokinesis, invisibility, electrokinesis, geokinesis, hydrokinesis, cryokinesis and strengthened senses.
I got so many feckin superheroes I think in the 40's so far. I got a few main ones then of course the corssover team and all that groovy shit.
my story is kind of weird, but it does revolve mostly around superheroes in the sense that they're all just demons and angels and stuff pretending to be superhuman to be able to hang out with the rest of society for a while
I'm doing something with Paranormal investigators rn actually. My A.D.D. keeps my brain busy for ideas. It's sort of a buddy cop thing. There's Richter and Jacqueline. Richter is possessed by a spirit of reckoning, (it's an angel crossed with a demon, a vigilante spirit) whenever he is around evil and if he wants he turns into a monster that kills evil people. His arms turns to stone and he grows horns. Jacqueline is a hunter who is looking for revenge, both her parents were possessed and forced to torture her as a child, Jackie had to kill them with the family gun ever since she has been hunting down the demons and monsters who helped in her torture. The pair were at different points blackmailed into working for S.I.E.D. ( Supernatural Investigation and Enforcement Division. pronounced seed. .) Eventually they find friendship and trust in eachother and the answers to eachothers problems.

That’s sounds so frecking good. Do you draw by any chance?? If you don’t i’d love to draw out some scenes and stuff. My insta is @gussyno to check out what I make. But bro that sounds so good
It's not a superhero world, but it's a superpower I guess.
I have this superpower called. AutoPhotoKinesis. (I swear I'll come up with a better name. )
People with this power can manipulate sound and can also convert sound into light creating energy blasts or simply a small ball of light. They can also make tiny light particles to make holographic projections, visual illusions and appear invisible. What's interesting is that they can affect someone or something at a molecular level. This means that they can produce sound that vibrates matter and changes their physical state. They can turn a solid into gas or liquid into a gas, etc. Another really cool thing is that they can vibrate their body into a gaseous state and walk through solid objects. However, one really bad thing is that the more you use this superpower, the faster it is going to kill you. What do you think about this superpower? Is it too OP? Is there anything I should change or fix?
What I'm planning for the plot of my story is that well my character is a U.S Airforce Pilot who crashes down on an island from a highly dangerous mission. She wakes up to find that she is kind of transparent and that she is dying. It turns out that the island isn't exactly deserted, but in fact, there is a base camp set up there and that others have been also deserted there. The base camp is part of a secret organization which I have no name for and they are experimenting on alien technology which is capable of unleashing absolute chaos and destruction on the world. My character is found by an Australian Spy who was here for a mission to get intel on the camp before another loner joins the now trio. Bla bla bla they find a way off the island and Federal Organization, F. H. L . I. D ( I need a better Acroymn. ) or Federal Homeland Logostics Intervention Division recruits her because of her superpowers and joins a special team with the Spy who was on the island with her who apparently got injected with super strength. Thats about it…..

how do you guys come up with such well thought out plots. Gosh. It does sound pretty op. I feel like you can take it down a notch by giving others a certain thing of the ability and others not. Say person A can make holographic projections but person B can’t and can only turn their body into a gaseous state. Yknow seperate the abilities so not one person has ALL. Obviously you don’t have to do that.

Ok, I get what you are saying, I'll just split the light and sound abilities apart and also I need a way to get back together after vibrating their body into a gaseous state if you have any ideas.
For the plot, I literally mashed together, Marvel, DC, some Designated Survivor, Star Wars: Clone Wars, and some Sherlock Holmes. I still have to work on the rest of the plot though since it is incomplete.
My world is a superhuman world. When earth became inhabitable scientists sent a few intelligent minds and thousands of young children and criminals to start a new life on a new planet named Onia. The planet, though, was plagued with radiation. The radiation gave the strong superhuman powers (Fire, water, ice, snow, invisibility, mind control, angel and demon summoning, omni-magic or warlocks, immortality etc) and killed the weak. These powers from the first generation were then passed down and created a new superhuman race.
There are also demons, angels and other stuff but in the first book, we don't really touch much on it.
If anyone wants to talk about powerful OC's and wild plots I'm your person!
oh boi, I have some really stupidly powerful ocs that I have to barely use in my storyline so they don't completely obliterate everything
My storyline is built around powerful characters….
