I'm doing a paranormal investigators story, in it the government works with the division providing them with funding, cover-ups, and resources. Point is I want them to have a badge. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for me or if someone could draw one.
Now I want the idea to revolve around a sheriff's star. I want it to be cool and unique but not too on the nose.
I think I can help, I'm not an expert designer but with enough inspiration, I might be able to come up with something, even if it's just an idea.

Well, what are you thinking for the badge? Do you want it to say something? How close to a sheriff's star are we going for? Should the badge actually be star-shaped or round with a star on it?
Well, I basically want it to be their own unique star. At first, I thought of a pentagram but that was way too on the nose. So I was thinking round badge with a star overlapping it. Maybe some runic light runic symbols, to show their Celtic roots.
It has to say S.I.E.D. on it. It has to be made of silver cause demons hate silver. Underneath the name, S.I.E.D. is the 5 digit badge number.
back to the runic symbols, each point of the stars could have a different symbol. OR around the star could be runic symbols
It also can't give too much away about the whole supernatural/paranormal thing since it's highly covert. I hope this is enough.
Ok. Do you think the runic symbols would be on top of the star points or would the star be kinda small and the symbols would be in front of each point? I'm working on the design now.
