Character Help

I have a character that appearance changes every night and I'm getting confused by it.

How so?

The problem is the mostly the recognition, but also would just her features change or things like blood type and powers change as well? I'm kinda hopeing somebody else has done something like thisand could tell me how they worked with these problems

Like every night she looks different during the day or every time the day changes she changes? If the 1st think of Fiona from Shrek. If the 2nd first decide if she has an appearance for each day of the week or a different time cycle.

She's the second one, and she never looks the same way twice (though still human and still female)

I think it would just be her appearance than, if her powers and blood type changed her gender would probably change as well. Also how long is your story supposed to be? If it's long you might want to set a cycle before she repeats so you don't run out of options.

You could try giving her a birthmark, eyes, or a mannerism that identifies her specifically

By the way my previous comment about blood types is from a logic standpoint if it works better for your story for it to change you should just go ahead.

I've read materials similar to this, and the birthmark one is a good idea. I once read a story in which a girl was reincarnated every seventeen years, and she had the same café au lait spot on her left cheek. It makes for a very cool indentification trait.
