So the deal is as follows: share a character you want to flesh out or torment. We'll ask and answer questions about them. This isn't a super organized thread (I mostly just want something to do when I get bored later) but we do have a few rules:

  • Please share a direct link to your character(s)' page(s). Do not direct people to your profile.
  • Yes, you may share more than one character; they can answer a single question seperately or both get different questions.
  • Please ask questions that elicit a complex answer. Complex means that you'll get more than a one or two word answer like "yes" or "no". Those are boring. We don't want them.
  • You may attempt to answer "in-character." That might actually be fun. >: ) I'll go so far as to encourage it. Will probably do it myself.
  • On that note, do be sure that the in-character answer has substance.

To start, my protagonists! I'll throw a bad guy into the ring later when I think he's ready.

I'm personally a huge fan of breaking the fourth wall, so meta questions are welcome.

How do you try to get out of a nasty scrape? Fight? Flight? Go to weapon?

Also, not sure if that question is meant for actual me or my characters based on the wording, @Ann copper. I'll assume character because that's the point of this thread.

Zafnir: I am, uh, a little over-trusting, ignoring bad gut feelings about someone for to sake of avoiding a fight. I do not want to hurt people, and I don't want them to think me a monster. Many, many people see only my face and come to think me a monster.

Helynah: I'll admit that I'm a little headstrong. I hate asking for help. Part of the reason why is that I don't want to risk owing people. * shudders * I spent most of my life "owing" someone just because they paid for me.

Alec: I like to whip out my sniper gun and headshot everyone from a distance they can't get me at, but if I were in a close battle I'd just give my enemy a taste of my fists.
Chezden smiles mischievously: First of all that would never happen to me because I'm too smart for people who want my ass on a silver plate. But I would use a knife or a metal pipe that's lying around if I had no real weapons on me~
Alec: I also got a question for Zafnir…my creator told me to ask….What do you think about Abraham the wannabe knight? Has he given you a smooth round shiny lookin' rock yet?

I'm so glad this thread is a thing. There's another site I go on that had one like this and it was tons of fun. I'll start out with just my main characters from my main project, but maybe I'll add more into the mix later if that's ok?
Anyways, here are my guys

How do you try to get out of a nasty scrape? Fight? Flight? Go to weapon?

Crispin: "Throwing knives are my best bet, but I could beat the sh** out of someone with my fists if I have to. Flight is lame. I mean, running from a fight is lame, but actually being able to fly isn't all that it's cracked up to be either.

Kit: "I don't really find myself in those kinds of situations very often. If it came down to it, I think it would be better walk away from it. If someone wants to fight me, then that's their problem and I'd rather not stoop to their level.

Caleb: "I would just try to run away. I'm not very good in fights. I… I know how to use a bow and arrow, but I'm not very good. And I mostly use that for hunting."

Ayeden: That depends. Usually, I run away, we need to be stealthy and if we're caught, then y'know… I need to run.
Cameron: I'm good at defending myself, I don't need weapons. I'd probably just fend whatever is endangering me off till it gets sick of me. laughs

Ayeden: Uhh…. That's a hard one. I'd go SOMEWHERE I guess but I have no idea where.
Cameron:I wanna go to Liseberg, It's an amusement park in Sweden!

Tom: I'd go to the tree that owns itself, I would like to see it in real life.

Kit: "Aside from Crispin, no they've never called me that. Not to my face at least. As for your other question, I don't really like to think of myself as being spoiled. I can see why people might say that, but it's not like I always get what I want. I've dealt with my fair share of hardships just like everyone else."

Helynah: The people who actually know Zafnir make fun of his bleeding heart.

Zafnir: Well, that hurt, but most strangers are satisfied with tossing racial slurs my way.

Helynah: Most people around here are afraid of dragons, and because I hang out with a dragon, they're also usually afraid of me. I get a lot of the slurs too.

Me: So, Kit, how do you feel about your responsibilities as a prince? Are you ever afraid of your powers getting discovered? And everyone else, what are your day-to-day responsibilities in your crazy lives?

"I don't really mind all the responsibilities I have. It's a lot of work sometimes and I don't always get much time to myself, but that's really the only downside. I do worry about other people finding out about my powers though. Powers aren't really as big of a deal as they used to be, but there's still people out there who oppose them. If that were to get out, it would really mean a lot to some people, but on the other had there would be people who would lose their respect for me."

To the rest of you, what's a thing you get picked on for?

Crispin: "Well my dad literally tried to kill me after he found out about my powers so there's that. Aside from that, people like to poke fun at my height."

If you could choose one place in your world to be right now, where would you go and why?

Caleb: Do I really have to choose only one? There's so many places I'd like to see, but I guess if I had to choose only one it would probably be either Morbane or Galtia. I hear they're both beautiful cities, but I think Morbane would be nice because I've never seen the ocean and I really want to. Galtia because I just want to see the Castle, even just from the outside.

How do you celebrate your birthday?

Kit: There's always a big party with lots of

Caleb: My birthday is just another day for me. The only difference is that people will wish me happy birthday. But we can't really afford to do anything too extravagant.

Crispin: My birthday isn't really a big deal for me. When I was younger I used to get presents and we'd buy a cake or something like that. After I left to go live with my father on his ship we would usually just find the nearest tavern and get just celebrate there with the crew. Lots of drinking and all that.

Zafnir: I like watching the sunset (Helynah: He actually tries to do that every day; the only difference on his birthday is that he'll wake me up to say he just got a year older.). And I love books, old ones with myths and legends. I know a few old stories in my head; I could tell you some right now. Oh! The favorite person, person. Only from here? Easy: Helynah.

Helynah: * sigh * I don't know when my exact birthday is, so I just celebrate it quietly on New Year's. (Zafnir: Why have you not told me that?) I like books almost as much as Zafnir does, but ones that have a little more reality to them. A good street performance with mancers will always catch my eye.

Zafnir: Mancers meaning anyone who manipulates an element.

Helynah: Pyromancers, Aquamancers…

Zafnir: But we are getting off topic.

Helynah: Right, and if I have to pick a favorite person here…
