My main character is Jessica McKellen, a normal, slightly shy schoolgirl with a 6-year-old sister named Sabrina. Jessica herself is 10, and she has a crush on Steven Allen, another fifth-grader in her class. (Mr. Bryer's class.) Jessica (aka Jessie) also has a best friend named Natalie Fenwood. Her single mom is about to get married to the principal of her school, and her life will be changed forever. There are so many more characters (27, to be exact), and I could go on for hours!
