1. why does he hate people that exploit others? did something happen to make him that way?
2. what is he the sentinal of?

1. Who doesn't hate people like that? lol Its gonna be addressed in the story.
2. Sentinel is just a synonym for guard, soldier, warrior, etc it's not exactly a title like General or King or President.
