Does anyone make playlists for their characters?

I'm about to start doing it, and I've also seen it as a tip quite frequently, so I'd kind of like to see the stuff other people have come up with too. Post your playlists/tips for making character playlists here! I'll put mine up once I've got ideas.

Yeah, that's something I've heard a lot of people do- I mean, playing the specific music while they're writing.
I'm trying to do this, but my music taste is too edgy for most of my characters.

Ah, you see… I'm not emo-edgy. I'm grunge-edgy. So like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, etc.

I was just listening to a metallica song actually. I considered using a specific one for the playlist, but it didn't fit.

Uhhh dang. Let's see if I can find it again. It was written as an anti-war song.
