I hardcore ship Oakannah and Drest (Droakannah). Both as friends and boyfriend girlfriend. It was a surprise when I started writing them but Tavi and Rothos. Tavi is sort of the first person to really bond with Rothos and they get on surprisingly well together.
Bramble and Ember!! They don’t have a ship name yet, but I love them!! Ivy and Snowflake are super cute as well. And Marine and Asher…..they’re so gay, it’s awesome.
To be honest: within the central cast, the only pairing I'm iffy about would be Kieron and Brandee. He's…like…professional strongman huge; she's ninety pounds soaking wet. I think he'd be afraid of accidentally hurting her.

Romance isn’t a huge focus in my story, but Anthony and Dally is one ship I have! It was originally a bit of a crack ship but their relationship has actually become one of my favorite character dynamics. They just make a really good pair. It takes a while for them to get the courage to actually change their relationship over the course of the story because ✨internalized homophobia✨, but it does happen! It’s not so much enemies to lovers as frenemies with ungodly amounts of romantic tension (but they’re absolutely, definitely straight. Take their word for it).
Then there’s Jack and Emmett, which is really fun to write. Originally they were going to fall in love over the course of the story, but then I went fuck it, they’re married now. Which honestly made more sense, lol.
I also think Quill and Perry would be really, really cute, and they do have small crushes on each other, but it never becomes canon.

Catiline and Colby. At first Colby was straight and I had her with a different character, but my sister goes, "Colby would be so cute with Catiline". After that, I changed Colby's sexuality and boom, they are my favorite lil lesbians :3

And it's a v healthy relationship, neither one of these bois is toxic to the other which makes them perfect for each other, and I can't wait to see if I can make ship art of them someday because they're just made for each other fbekjfbjkfw
Once I was playing truth or dare with my coauthor and we ran out of questions and we started asking ones about the story. I asked 'What uncanon ship is your favourite?' She couldn't answer but I said Leon and Luke. We kind of just looked at each other, nodded, and it was canon then on.

Ace and Spade. They do a lot of things that couples would normally do (at least in terms of the stereotypes surrounding couples), and it's also a pretty healthy relationship since they've been friends since they started middle school (they're in college now). They are pretty much perfect for each other, and once I start officially writing them, I'll probably make this ship an occurrence in my story.
