As for Nuru, I do have in mind for her to get a facial plastic surgery (or something) in the story's resolution

As for Eva having her moral limits, I did once briefly think, "say, she's a baddie and sides with Clawe, but how about towards the end of the story he goes too far with the evilness (or backstabs Eva) and she's like "I'm done" and acts against him?"

It stands for "cleaner, lubricant, propellant." Basically: it's gun oil.

But while I'm sure one uses gun oil when building and fixing battlebots? I think what I had in mind was more along the lines of industrial lubricant. You know…too neutral to be called a "chemical reek," but definitely a "synthetic oil" smell.

Adisa: daddy issues (cuz he's dead), stoner, but best friends with the most popular girl in school (she/her)

Still manages to maintain golden-child façade via style and guile.

Uri: hopeless romantic, loner, fascinated by humans (he isn't one) brutally honest (he/they)

Brandee: She/her. Tiny. Irascible. Can repair or drive just about any vehicle. Has a zillion tattoos.
Kieron: He/him. Absolute unit of an aspiring strength athlete. Works event security as his day job. Eats like a bear preparing to hibernate and lifts like a freight elevator. Sweet and naïve.
