Help me decide on a name?

Ok, so I have this one main character in my novel. He was originally named Spencer Ferris, but I kinda don't like that first name for that particular character anymore so I'm trying to come up with a new one. I've got it narrowed down to 3 so far: Leo, Theo, and Caleb.

Of the three, Leo is probably my favourite. I'm kind of hesitant though because this character has fire powers which is kind of similar to the character Leo Valdez from the Heroes of Olympus series (who also has fire powers). Maybe I'm just overthinking this a lot, but I don't want people to think that my character is a ripoff or that I'm copying, especially since most similarities end there.

What do you guys think? Should I still name him Leo? Or should I try to settle on one of the other names?

I would say if you make his character different enough it should be fine.

I feel like they're different enough in terms of personality. Like I said, the only real similarities would be the name and the fire powers.
I did make a page for him (finally). I don't know if it'll shed any light on anything and it's still a bit of a work in progress, but it's here if anyone wants to look at it.

Theo is pretty nice too but it depends on whether or not you make it short for something (like Theodore)

If I went with Theo it would be short for Theodore, but he'd mostly go by Theo.

I'm not sure I'd call him nerdy, but he definitely is pretty shy. I don't know if that changes anything.

I think right now I'm leaning towards calling him Caleb. Thanks for all your input guys. I have another character that needed to be renamed so I'm thinking I'll call that character Leo because I really love that name (and this character doesn't have fire powers).
