I'm new to this website and I'm wondering how you edit a character's prompt

What do you mean by editing a character's prompt? If you'd like, you can customize all the fields of a character page by clicking "Customize template" in the top of the page.

Past that, prompts are automatically generated based on which fields you haven't answered yet.
