first completed side character, anyone mind a quick review?

Seems like a cute and well rounded side character. The only thing i'm curious about is how he reacted to his dad's abandonment, and how he feels about it now. Does he have abandonment issues? Does his motivation mean he's clingy to others and craves close bonds? Does he still get sad thinking about his parents? Anyway, good job.
