@RebeccArt

Heyooo, I'm an artist. So I'm here to tell you about Ko-fi. It's a website where people can support other artists by 'buying coffee' for them, which really means donating $3.00 or more to help the artist reach their fund goals. I wanted to share this with all of you in hopes of getting my own supporters, I've been struggling a lot lately with pulling in more viewers let alone customers for commissions! I'd appreciate it deeply if you check it out and buy me coffee. You can also leave a comment on my page, friendly words please I have a gentle soul. Andddd if anyone is interested, I am still open for commissions just dm me for details. Thanks!

Thank you for telling me about this! I had heard about it from some artist and jut now checked it out!

@RebeccArt

@"Honey and Spearmint" What did you think? Is it too complicated?

I think it's pretty straight forward, a good idea for any new artists or people who need funding. I hear its a bit like Go Fund Me, but I have never been there.

@RebeccArt

@"Honey and Spearmint" it is like Go Fund Me but I think it's supposed to be cooler? Idk, I just thought it was cute how people say Buy me Coffee. xD

It is quite cute, it's also probably a bit easier to shamelessly promote yourself with a little illustration that says: "Please Buy Me Coffee!"

@RebeccArt

@"Honey and Spearmint" funny you say that cause Im literally drawing a picture to post that says buy me coffee!!!

That is quite funny! What would you say your art style is?

Trying to figure out how the heck to draw hands holding coffee.

@RebeccArt

I've given up on drawing the hand right now and I'm now adding too my script for the comic I'm making…

@RebeccArt

My art style is sort of everywhere at the moment. I'd say it's mostly cartoony which is what I try to aim for when I'm drawing faces, but the bodies are realistic and proportioned. When I'm doing fanart though, I usually lean towards cartoony/anime. I'm still learning techniques and all for digital art but hopefully, I can animate soon.

@RebeccArt

Oof you just reminded me, I have a comic I'm supposed to be working on and have been for the past 4 years…but I wasn't making progress so I am ignoring it now and doing other art things.

Honestly, mood. I am so bad at keeping ideas so I just make new ones.

@RebeccArt

I can't decide if my next project should be the comic series for the Powerpuff Girls or Disney Princesses

Hm?

@RebeccArt

I like to do yellow script pages, and make multiple ones to tell a story like a comic. So I take specific scenes of like tv shows or movies and redraw them in my style. Then I make the 'cover' for it as if it were a small comic. I think I'm going to do the Power Puff Girls, so I'm going to pull specific quotes and scenes from the original show and draw them!

That's cool! I'm working on a trippy dark fantasy comic at the moment and I'm about to start one about a circus filled with freaks.
