Moral compasses of different characters and advise on how to create them.

What is the best way to make a moral compass of a character without making it to one sided?

It depends on what/who they are and how they've been raised. Also what they've gone through. Look back at your characters past, and you might be able to slightly build it up from there.

It's alright if the compass isn't exactly evened out, in my opinion. Some people really do have one sided morals based on what they've been through.
