I’ve created a new character and I’ve just layed out a general idea for what I want her to be, but I am having a hard time getting hard details hammered out and I feel like I’ve gone in a loop with some information.

First thing I'm seeing is in the personality type. She is an ISTJ, but she's also very extroverted?
People can have hobbies they're not good at. ;)

definitely not a bad start. Background info is a must, but i assume you're workin' on it. I think the ISTJ and the "very extroverted" personalities clash pretty hard causing some confusion. I'd guess you mean something along the lines of, "wants to be a leader and tries to be one every now and then, but she cracks really easily under the pressure/responsibility. It's draining to her, yet she tries anyways."
I kind of with that there was a bit more information overall though. The identifying marks tab is pretty great for deeper physical details, but i understand that not all characters have these wicked scars or any other flashy features (thankfully lol.)
Otherwise, it seems to mesh together pretty well as far as i can see. Keep it up! :)
(Umm I corrected the ISTJ it’s supposed to be ESTJ, I just derped momentarily.)
