I dont really know how to start since there's a lot of info, but the story im working on is centered around 4 protags. The main two are an elf and his adopted younger sibling who somehow get dragged in this adventure due to the younger sibling being the last specimen of their specie (i use the pronoun "they" for the sibling because, even though they look like a girl, in reality they dont really have a visible gender).
Later on, they meet a shy artist boy and a moody witch, who choose to stick around the main two for fun. But because the MC's sibling is the last of their kind, they inadvertedly attract trouble like a magnet. The only reason they havent been captured yet is because of a special sword they found ditched in an abandoned place (they initially took it for the younger sibling, Narion, to use as a cane, because they're blind). The sword itself houses a daemon, a creature that was once from the same specie as Narion, but was downgraded to what it is now by humans, in an experiment that took place in the past. The daemon, named Rin, is a bit different from the other daemons (he has no voice at all and he's kinda dead inside), but he manages to save the protags from whatever trouble they get into. For a large part of the story, the protags are periodically teased by one of the secondary villains, Hiryur, who does what he does for fun.
