I started thinking about it and then I couldn't stop.
What if your OC had an OC.
She does! Ella has an OC named The Underman!
…he comes alive and tries to kill her and her wife. That's what happens when you base your horror stories in your hometown. It takes her waaaaay too long to realize she can still control him by writing about him.
Interesting. I was thinks of characters in realistic fiction where they just… have an OC because that's something a lot of people do. So when you develop your characters OC you're actually developing them because you have to make choices as your character.
Then that would be some inception-type shitzu
Allison would most likely base her OC off of a previous crush of hers
Allison would most likely base her OC off of a previous crush of hers
page too, but it would probably never occur to her to make an oc
Fun fact: this would be considered breaking the 4th wall, because Allison is actually based off a crush of mine.

Or is it meta? I can never tell.
