The Erwins:

  • Felix really loves the color pink. He wears it all the time, even though his proclaimed favorite colors are brown and orange. He always wears a little pink bead bracelet. It never gets mentioned in the story.
  • Benji once walked a girl home because she was afraid to walk alone. He was 13. She was 18. She knew this. She let him do it anyway, then called his dad and had him pick Benji up so Benji wouldn't have to walk home alone either.
  • Riley has reoccurring nightmares that his dog plushie gets burnt up in a house fire. He's 22. He doesn't have a plush dog. He's never had a plush dog. The nightmare never fails to wake him in a cold sweat.
  • Daisy is based on my grandma. She was an illegitimated child, and for her entire life felt horrible about herself until she finally did a DNA thing and found out her real father, though a creep, had 2 PhDs, was a master of the piano, and a tested genius. She realized she inherited a lot of those skills and smarts, and, while still disliking her father, found tremendous self confidence and self worth in her own abilities and intelligence.
  • Steven has the patience of a saint. As proven when he was four and walking the family labrador. The old dog just lay down and decided he didn't want to go any further. Steven really wanted to keep going. The two sat there, perfectly still, until a frantic search party found them hours later. Steven had never once stopped leaning against the leash to coax Coalie back to his feet.

A fun fact about the family in general:

  • Steven has been married twice, and Riley is the child of that marriage. He got married at the age twenty, and three years later, had Riley. His then wife was a horrible abusive trash human, to the point where he got full custody of baby Riley. Two years later, he met Daisy, who had a six month baby of her own after her boyfriend abandoned her and the child after learning she was pregnant. That was Felix. Felix and Riley don't actually share any biological blood relation. Steven and Daisy bonded over shared spousal trauma and they were married when Riley was 4 and Felix was 2 1/2. Benji is a half-brother to both Riley and Felix.
    But wait! I hear you cry. This thread is for irrelevant details!
    This is irrelevant. It will never get brought up in the main story, because the main character, Felix, has no idea about any of it. There are hints (those who pay attention to genetics might be suspicious) but nothing is ever said outright.

Tell me something about your character that has no real meaning to anything but you just wanna share. Could literally be anything like favourite food, color, animal, who they remind you of, any music you associate with them, random thoughts or whatever! Think of it like the "Trivia" section on the bottom of a wiki page for your character.

  • Layali is terrified of having the walls closing in on her
  • Phoebe was based off of an old friend of mine from primary school
  • Wolfie's mum (Casey) is Spanish, Italian (spanish dad, italian mother), and his dad is just english so he's fluent in all 3 languages plus a little bit of French
  • Layali nicknamed her brother Moony when she was younger and it stuck, her brother also calls her Sun or Sunny :)
  • Wrench is afraid of deep ocean (also Wrench isn't his real name)

Bryan (an immortal) spent one of his lives as Jesus Christ after losing a bet to an actual God. Xe doesn't bring it up often.

andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) writes in the "Roboto Mono" font, but he barely ever writes, instead preferring to type his messages out. He also has cleithrophobia (fear of being trapped), but I haven't really brought it up in my story yet, so I'm counting it.

Jack is a biromantic asexual, but it never comes up because I can't write romance to save my life.

Jody is 3'10'' at the start of her story, and 4'9'' by the end. She has to suffer from a lot of jokes from her friends because of this.

  • Lilith: Lilith hates eating sour foods, and thinks that bigoted people taste sour. She also hates the dracula references made around here. Lilith is mixed between Polynesian and Kenyan.
  • Daiyu: They hate bugs and will ask one of her followers to crush them. She loves to eat hateful people and follows Hannibal lectors idea of eat the rude. She is also mixed between Mangolian and Russian.

Auran: Auran has a very dulled sense of touch - they can't feel most textures, touch, or pain, largely because they are a living statue (it's a little complicated)
Elliot: Elliot prefers weapons with longer reaches, like quarterstaffs and spears though he's terrible with ranged weapons like bows and crossbows
Alexi: Alexi likes to collect feathers, which is fortunate because his best friend appears to have a connection with most birds they come across
Thala: Thala absolutely despises dried foods, though a select few dried fruits are an exception - he isn't picky about much else though
Theo: Theo (poor guy) has no idea how to flirt or how to tell if something counts as flirting - this has led to many uncomfortable situations
Mito: Mito can't get outright drunk because of his insane alcohol tolerance, but he finds it hard to turn down a drink
Aster: Aster always wanted to be a sailor as a child, but after his brother (a pirate) died at sea, he developed a general fear of sailing

  • Siirawyn doesn’t understand most humour. Once you explain the joke to him, he might chuckle. The only jokes he probably immediately knows are his own, which he has very little of. He only got slightly better after turning into an Aeth Beast.
  • Kyrios can fall asleep in almost any position. Standing up, upside down, etc.
  • Bogdan collects various types of utensils, primarily spoons. He’s interested in all sorts, from different eras and regions.

  • Simon talks to himself in binary (zeros and ones) when he's all by himself, it's like a second language to him so he just switches up every now and then. He doesn't do it in public though.
  • Henka sleeps curled up like a dog when he's somewhere that makes him feel unsafe or unconfortable, and sleeps "belly-up" in places that he's confortable in. Just,,,… some foreshadowing………………not at all intentional………………………………………………
  • Kainu tends to pick on his skin when he's stressed or bored, so technically, if he could control this little impulse, his acne wouldn't be/is not as bad as he makes it become.
  • William is a furry (his fursona is a monster-like dragon/wolf hybrid, it has 6 horns, a reptile tail with fluff at the end and is colored in dark desaturated purples, it looks really cute!) and has an animation meme youtube channel (don't try to find it, it's only in the story, I hardly have time to animate for my channel, who's to say for a fictional character's lmao). He also posts songs and covers in this channel and has around 5k subs! It's mentioned but not super relevant.
  • Horizona, despite being one of the most powerful OCs of mine, feared by all, only used her power once. Her power messes up the time-space continuum so she used it once at a very young age (that's how she found out at least) and never again to avoid fucking up the universe. That also means she's constantly using it as a threat but never follows through, justifiably. The lack of training also means she can't control it at all so she'd definetely fuck it up, badly.
  • Kim is chinese but her family moved out when she was 2 months old, so she couldn't speak chinese if her life depended on it.
  • Wolfram can bend his back backwards until he looks like the number 7. Not useful but eh.
  • Paul is always (and I mean always) smoking because he's immune to radiation, so he'll never get cancer or other health complications due to it. The only downside is that the niccotine is addictive, but other than that he doesn't get sick due to it so… Yeah, good luck finding him without a cigarette in his mouth.
  • Henka has speech impediments dur to his tusks, specially with M, U, O, B and P sounds. His tusks prevent him from closing his mouth properly, so he always pronounces these letters kinda funny. He hates it but what can he do, right?

  • Shea played hockey when she was younger and was so fuckin' good at it, seriously she was 10 and she was playing with the 13-14 year olds. she also lost her front tooth that way and her front right left tooth is actually a fake akdsjf
  • Paisley journals every night before she sleeps. it's her way of calming her mind down.
  • All of The Six play an instrument! Paisley knows how to play the piano, yet she really only does when she's trying to plan. It's her own way of getting her mind working. Abel can play the electric guitar and they absolutely love it. Rhyda's a drummer, Shea can play the bass guitar, Grace's older brother figure taught her how to play the trumpet, and Felix can play the violin and fiddle! Drew is also a piano player! Bianca, alas, is absolutely terrible when it comes to music related things so she does not do anything
  • Felix enjoys using his light-manipulating and illusion-creating powers to create complex situations to make a point (ex: the one time he used his powers to create an elaborate 1920's inspired theater musical number just to tell Paisley that she was wrong)
  • Rhyda cannot stand pudding or anything else related in texture
  • Grace is the only one of The Six who can actually cook a decent meal
  • The only solid hit anybody ever gets on Abel in the entire series is an eleven-year-old with a crowbar who knocked Abel out cold

~Cody is deathly allergic to bees
~Quinn hates lemon candy, lemon juice, and milk. He and his cousin(Luna) once mixed all the lemon candy they could get ahold of, lemon juice, and milk, put it in a blender, and then microwaved it. They thought they were making a potion. They drank it, and projectile vomited everywhere… Quinn is also extremely lactose intolerant and knew full well when he did this.

A few of my characters have oddly specific traits
Zoe- Zoe can speak French and speaks up to 1000 word per minute, she can recite Pi and the periodic table. and remembers all the passwords to her accounts.
Connor- Connor can name all of his ex's names in under a minute. He is allergic to chlorine but has to swim everyday. Conner got stuck in an air vent.
Lucas- Lucas is normal
Lucas can also make the glass for glasses.
