whoops my hand slipped This is a work in progress, just wanted to show you the lineart I've got so far (the chains over the horns thing is gonna be added later for…. reasons.) and I just want you to know if I should make any changes?

I graciously approve and adore him OwO I do find the loose clothes concept interesting and may possibly take that into consideration for his canon outfit ;o

feeling like sketching out some god/demon
and uhhh mind telling me how you want the design to feel? Like, how the overall character might appear to a normal human being? and not just the first impression but how someone would SUBJECTIVELY describe it
feel free to be as little descriptive as possible though, it's just a way to nail what you're going for with the character >v<

That would be super cool thanks! and about describing the overall feel of the design; have you seen Death Note? Think Ryuk. He definitely wouldn't be able to pass as human, but the way he holds himself is very human/personified. One of these days I might get around to drawing him myself, but I knew I wouldn't be able to capture that "has the power to kill whoever he wants but is a child about it" feel combined with "i'm edgy and find this demon kinda hot" feel. (if that makes sense,,,,,)

I was actually hesitant to enter cause, and gosh i don't want to sound pretentious, i didn't want to make people upset and such, cause seriously, your art is also a wonderful sight to see and i completely support everyone that tries to help others' visions of their characters!!

i'm deadass just writing a Death Note AU with my characters applied. it's just for funsies and shits and giggles, but for the Ryuk character,,,I'm turning a cat into Ryuk. so yeah he's a god of death :') i just wanted to design a cool new fun my own interpretation of Ryuk kinda thing
Essentially he's going to have a combination of Ryuk's personality and his own personality, but like, i really wanna know what he'd look like lol
