So when I was around 13-14, I made up this creature called a Whylp. I never did too much building of the species and after drawing several pictures of it and jotting down some notes, I threw them into a rubbish-filled drawer and forget about it. I re-dug them up not long ago and grew kind of attached to the strange critter.
So can you tell me what you think and if it is book worthy?
'Races' are not available for me, so I just popped it into 'Characters'.

I think you've built this race to a point where you could include them into a book, but you'd need some more story if they were going to become a main character or race in a book.
I would say that these are more worldbuilding type material. Not good for a main character,but should work well as a sidekick/animal companion. Very well designed.
It's meant to be a race of creatures but I don't have the race section available so I just used a character section to place down most of the basic ideas.
If I used one as a character in a book, it would be just as a sidekick creature not a main character.
That should work quite well.
